Mathematically we aren't safe but no one down there seems to be putting a proper run together.

In the space of a few weeks, Oxford and Portsmouth have both gone from looking like they might survive to now looking like they are just waiting for that inevitable relegation.

WBA Vs Blackburn was 0-0 in a game where the winner would have almost certainly been safe, and neither one took advantage in a must win game.

It's fine for WBA to draw against Wrexham who are in the playoffs, but you can't be drawing 0-0 against Blackburn who are in the same position as you.

And Leicester, I'm sorry but if you can't beat that lot (home or away) do you even deserve to stay up?

Luckily we have chance to pick up point(s) against Preston and Blackburn. We are lucky that if we do stay up it will be because the teams below us haven’t been able to get themselves out of danger rather than us adding to our points tally. If it goes to a relegation battle we are playing league one football end of, we don’t have anything about us to not concede. The manager might be an apparent blade but the players don’t seem to be bothered about that

Oxford have promotion/ play off contenders Wrexham, Millwall and Derby still to and Leicester have Millwall and Hull

You'd think they'd both drop enough points from those games to make us safe even if we dont win again.

And as someone else said, if you can't beat quite literally the worst 2nd tier team ever, who are you going to beat?

Portsmouth have all of Boro, Ipswich and Coventry yet to play. They also have Leicester. I cannot see 10 points in their last six.

Oxford have Derby, Millwall and Wrexham in five. I can’t see ten points there either.

Pompey have to play 3 of the top 4 so realistically need to win their other 3
Let's say they do mind blowingly well and get 3 wins and 2 draws, thats 53

Oxford would need 4 wins jn 5 to pass us. For 53

Both the above are unlikely
1 win and we have 54 anyway

1 win from 5 no matter how poo our defence is, we are due a result
