Am i the only one that can see it…?

It's very doubtful the three teams above the Pigs will finish above us if we lose every game.

However, I can see us finishing a couple of places above the bottom three.

Not sure how that will help the overall mood of the club. You can say staying up was the main objective after the first couple of months but we were literally two wins away from being genuine play off contenders. Then the wheels came off.

So you know what i might actually back track on this, we have Wednesday, Swansea at home who did not impress me yesterday you shot yourselves in the foot after being the better team and we brushed them aside at the liberty (albeit Sheehan was still in charge at the time) a six pointer against Portsmouth, Blackburn and two home games against hull and Millwall, if we do win on Monday 12 points if not more isn’t probable but it’s definitely doable.

Although the major thing that makes the difference is you aren’t going to lose your last six games. You’ll probably end up beating Brizzle Monday and it’ll all be done and dusted, plus Portsmouths remaining fixtures are tragic and they ain’t won in six games.

Mathematically yes. Realistically none whatsoever.

The mathematics are more complicated than people take into account as well.

Portsmouth still need to play Oxford and us.

We still need to play Blackburn, I could go on.

Point is No two teams are taking three points in any of those scenarios.

You’d be looking at a minor miracle for Sheffield United to be in any danger of going down.

Especially given your superior goal difference. It would need to be a complete capitulation that I don’t see coming. Appreciate yesterday was disappointing but you still got a point at the end of the day.

Exactly this. But we like to moan like fuck as a fan base.

Eeyore in Winnie the Pooh is happier

There’s nothing wrong with moaning.

It’s when you’ve got half your fan base trying to kiss the ring of a man who had nothing to do with winning the PL for winning the PL and the other half want to have him hanged from the scaffolding of the king power with a Cambodia flag draped over him that you have a real problem 😂

As many have said, it's statistically very unlikely we go down, but it might be a lot closer than it looks now, by early May.

Leicester, Charlton, WBA and Oxford all have 3 points to be automatically added, due to fixtures against Wednesday.

It's plausible that we fail to win any of our next three, so this thread could be resurfacing.

The part that bothers me is Wilders its going to be a really tough pre season. We know the seasons over but you would expect more focus on whats in front of us before the end of this season. I honestly dont see how a pre season can turn 60 minute fitness into 100 minute fitness. Why have we seen no improvement fitness wise since he came back?. Im not expecting much improvement unless its a clear out and a whole mass recruitment. The lack of fitness of our current squad is appalling.

That we will have to avoid defeat at Derby County to avoid relegation.I am old enough to remember last game defeats resulting in “the drop” and this season has the stench of a repeat of Walsall,Wigan & Chelsea, there are probably others as well, but if you can’t defend properly you are F…..D !!
Now I’m stressed 💆 You sadist you

I’ll be leaving on the final whistle. I have very little respect for the current squad with very few exceptions. Unprofessional, weak minded and lacking in heart or any desire to take responsibility.
That's fair enough, Nick.

I haven't been to the last two home matches and I've been happy enough with with what i've done instead. I've made my mind up I won't be renewing, too. I'm so fed up with the time-wasting, play acting and just the general attitude of footballers and managers in general. The game has become a get together for show ponies and virtue signallers and I don't enjoy any of it anymore.

The England v Uruguay match last week was the final straw for me as I found the attitude and approach of the Uruquay players utterly reprehensible. No one pays money to see that kind of anti-football shit for 96 minutes.

Love united, hate football.
