If we don't count how shite we've been.

The comedy show at Hillsborough

One from West Ham/Spurs/Forest/Leeds will be dropping too. Spurs going would just be hilarious quite frankly, and I'm sure none of us will shed a tear about the other three either.

So, other than our own shit show, it's been a good season 💁🏻‍♂️

I just can’t see how a really big team dropping from the premier league means our season hasn’t been that bad. Sorry. I see it as a further negative.

This summer we have a monumental task to attempt to be competitive again and hopefully have a play off push and then we potentially face a team coming down with hundreds of millions of pounds worth of player who’ll be expected to steam roller the division even after selling big names.

If Spurs for example came down you’d think that’s one of the top spots wrapped up for next season already.

It’s a good away day at best.

Relegating Wednesday means this season will be spoken about in decades to come more than much better seasons. It will be the only thing people remember about it in 50 years time

I think you’re right that it will likely be spoken about, but hopefully we’ll have achieved something of note in the next 50 years that will eclipse their relegation.

I do feel quite dirty hoping Leeds, West Ham and Forest all survive
It would just be so funny.

They're a big club, but if they go down that squad needs a serious overhaul to be competitive in the championship. They have zero bite or bottle.

Reminds me of us in that terrible Prem season.

It's karma for the euro super league fiasco that they should never have been part of anyway.

It's been an underwhelming season let's be honest. The sacking of Wilder and then the appointment of Selles ultimately killed off any hopes of promotion, not to mention the abysmal recruitment. I'm glad we're skint purely so we can't spunk £20m on shite like Chong, Matos and McGuinness. Doing the double over Wednesday and sending them on their way was one of very few highlights. I guess the only thing to be thankful for is that we're not in their boots, and we can all have a chuckle at their demise.

Back Wilder in the summer, overhaul the squad as much as possible and just hope that next season is better than this one.

In future years it'll remain a constant on Football Pigven, they will tell everybody how through all this they were still getting 25/30000 home crowds and that every fan of other clubs said they were the best fans in the World. And Misery Mick will come on nearly everyday " Nobody has got fans like ours" complementing his last seasons mantra " Danny won't go he loves us too much".

I think we will look back more kindly on this season and the job Wilder has done.

When he arrived we were bottom with no points and behind Wednesday.

We’re sat on 50 points already with 7 to go and Wednesday even without deductions would be some 38 behind.

Sorry but it’s been fucking shit. Relegating pigs who were down before a ball was kicked is a tiny bit of good amongst a load of wank. 6 points dropped to the likes of Charlton and Wrexham. Losing games we’ve lead for long periods. Terrible discipline and most of all a squad that is extremely unlikeable and don’t care about the club.

Other than that an alright season?

This season was a reverse turd sandwich.

All in all neither good or disastrous but we've got used to promotion ,relegation of losing a play off .

Lets rejoice in being average , just for once .

the title should have read

......it could have been a lot worse.

It’s a good away day at best.

We did beat them in the FA Cup 3 years ago. They are arguably a worse team now than then, although so are we but you never know what happens in the summer.

The two saving graces of this season are firstly that we won't extend our abysmal, record run of play-off failures; and the emergence of Andre Brooks as an international footballer and Femi Seriki as a bona-fide top level Championship right back.

The rest of it has been false dawns followed by cold doses of reality served by an average Championship squad led by an average Championship manager.

The only good spell was that 20 or so games were we showed top championship form which tbf is a big chunk. It started at Hillsborough funnily enough.

If we hadn't shot ourselves in the foot we would have gone up or at least been very solidly play offs but the fact is we did and ever since we have been playing catch up

.
Would be like a cricketer in the baseball league - I mean someone throws a ball and you hit it with a bat, so should be fine…

Most ‘decent’ players will leave, almost a new squad to build and they’ll be biggest scalp in the league.

Don’t take it for granted, remember Leeds were ‘too good to go down’ and where did they end up?
