I’m gutted, if some old dear handn’t spotted it when they were wading through bin bags of donations it could have been mine for a fiver from the big St Luke’s up the road.

Is that number the right style? Can’t remember a little hobott badge on the player numbers. Steve Charles Was number 8 that season

They have young dears too!! And they don't really work like that now. All donations are examined carefully by skilled practitioners of the art. (And some old and young dears too .

I’ll always stop by a charity shop if I’ve 5 mins to spare in the hope a retro Blades shirt might be knocking about on the rails.

Noticed the other day St Luke’s have a rail dedicated to football shirts now and had a good few Blades shirts from 2010-2015. Certainly not giving them away but a better price than you’d get at Classic Football Shirts.

Yes it is. There was that Hobott on the number in the 82/83 season.

I believe the record for a Blades shirt (apart from private sales) is $38,000 for Deano's first PL goal shirt which sold at auction a few years ago.

Not sure I’d be trusting the £4 economy delivery having spent the best part of three grand on the item!
