Robbo tried to help us, no wonder they subbed him at HT
 
After watching this I think a point is fortunate, disappointing but fortunate. Poor penalty, but a lovely goal of real quality from Burrows and Bamford.
We creep towards mathematical survival.

Hoever should have passed it earlier or delayed for Cannon to get back on. Brilliant skill to get around the Brim player but naive in the delivery. Not Cannon’s fault.

I can see your pov but if you look at where he puts the ball it's too far out for the keeper but enough for him to run into I would say it was perfect. If it's anyone's fault here it's cannons

A bit of both but the delivery is the key for me as he’s not under pressure to deliver without looking up. If it’s not the right time then delay for a second or two and he’s in. Agree that if Hoever played it a split second earlier Cannon would have been in and clear.

It looked to me like the wall was lined up in the wrong place, or the keeper was. It just looked like there was way too much room on that side. The shot goes in a yard from the post and around five feet from the ground.
 
Don’t know if it’s been mentioned elsewhere (and apologies if it has) but on the penalty the Birmingham defender (Klarner?) who tackles Peck after the keeper’s save and stops him tapping in the rebound has encroached into the area, hasn’t he? If anyone can put up a still of it that would help but it looked like it to me. I think Burrows encroached as well but it should have been retaken if I’m right.

yes he is in the box but this ref wont give us anything like that he is looking at Peck too not the players coming into the box. He has his hand out to tell them to stay where they are but he isnt looking. Most refs look for it too. Whats worse is the Brum player encroaching is the one who cleared the ball. Peck would have probably beaten him to the ball and scored on the replay. However Peck should have buried this in corners.

Well inside the box as well, shit officiating.

Not just a problem in our match today either, its getting worse across the divisions.

The ref is correctly concentrating on Peck and the keeper. Surely it's the linos job to look for encroachment

The Lino should be looking to see if Davies comes off the line too early, that’s why he’s positioned where he is, the ref should be looking at encroachment as there is no need to just concentrate on Peck. The ref, as with most refs was a compete wanker and should’ve ordered a retake if it wasn’t for his wankerness.
