It's too early to write off Rothwell, he's hardly played so far. Phillips was a disaster, hoping the wages aren't ridiculous. You'll find it hard to find a worse cameo than Hoever's last night.

But ravel has always flattered to deceive - there was a point not that long ago where Phillips was one of the best in England - and he has 30-40 caps I think?

To be fair, we all knew we needed come cover at LB (due to McCallum's injury), cover at RB and some bodies in the midfield.

LB- currently looks adequate
RB- has looked poor, although really he should be coming on at the end of a game to give Seriki a rest and to see out a game.
CM- Philips looked like a quality player who was unfit and could have played a big part. Also a good person to have around our younger players. If it wasn't for that stupid challenge, probably wouldn't be so grumpy about this was.
Rothwell seems to be off the pace... But as the only new, permanent signing, we will have to keep fingers crossed he can play a part in next season.
