It reeks.

He's the most entitled player we have and clearly thinks of himself as better than the level he's currently playing at.

If only his performances could back that up. Totally bested today by his opposition in every position he decided he wanted to play next.

He simply isn't good enough to build your team around because of his attitude. Not his ability.

Get fucking rid for whatever someone will offer.

Coventry go up and we might be swapping Hamer for that Cov Forward Wilder wants.

Concerned that ship has sailed

He’s not the athlete required for prem

12 months ago was best player in league, now probably 5th best player in our mid table team

1year left on contract reckon £5m in current form and shape

I'd be delighted with £5 million

Problem for Hamer is that he’s always looking for the decisive through ball, cute little touch to unlock the defence, or the chance to smash in a screamer.
This is great when he’s on it and he can look like a world beater and get away with ambling around the pitch.
However, when he’s not (like today), it can look really bad as the low percentage passes paired with his less than energetic demeanour, can be infuriating and frustrating for fans if it’s not coming off.

Needs a manager who us going to push him more than Wilder, who lets him get away with loads. Hes out of shape and ill disciplined.

If he went to Leeds Farke would knock him into shape. Just look how Bogles changed physically there.
By a manager who.makes players get fit and f.cking keep fit. Wilder is happy for a player to have a gut on him like Hamer has.

I have no idea what some of you people want. His job is to be a playmaker, to create chances. Picked up his 8th assist in 9 games today to move top of the Championship assist ranking, despite playing out of position and getting randomly dropped through most of January.

We'd be fucked going forward without him. Utterly fucked. Unfortunately next season I'm sure we'll find that out the hard way.

Come off it 😂 he's not half as good as he was last season, he's unfit, he is petulant and he's constantly trying to force the issue.

It's great that he's getting so many assists, I expect that when every time he gets the ball he's trying to pick a Hollywood ball out the pit of his arse.

I like Hamer, but he's so unbelievably up his own arse.

More assists this season than Brooks, Campbell, Chong, Arblaster, Cannon, Bamford and McCallum combined, by the way. If anyone else wants to start creating some chances, they're welcome to start anytime.

To be fair though Mayor, he’s playing out of position because he simply refuses to track back and do the defensive side of the game. Equally Wilders said his position is LW. It clearly isn’t. He’s a CM as proven at Cov.

He’s a really fun player. He’s not a very serious player. He won’t change.

I’ll miss the outrageous moments, but cold eyed rationality says we get him off the wage bill in summer. Serves us right for wasting this season.

If Hamer didnt try the unusual, he wouldnt set chances up with unusual football. Sometimes he gives the ball away and sometimes its pure genius seeing openings most of us cant. I like to be entertained by gifted footballers. Currie would never have got a shirt with most of you lot.

Have we even played him centrally since the prem? We don't know what he'd do there, because we don't do it.

He's exceptionally creative, but we scored goals while he was out the team this season, be it injured or dropped.

I think he’s played there a few times previously (after the prem season). He’s given a free pass (I think based on his fitness personally) by being played out on the wing. “Player of the season” as wilder says in that LW spot, but he’s utterly wasted there, we signed him after being the literal best CM for Coventry. Now we’re playing him on the wing because he outright refuses to do the defensive duties required. When he’s asked to do the defensive side, he acts like a petulant child and fouls the opposition, thus getting a yellow card, which then ends up with him missing games through suspension.

I really like him, think he’s a quality operator on his day, but those days are becoming less and less. When those days become less and less, what’re you left with? A player that plays the occasional worldly, or cute pass, but offers absolutely nothing outside three or four moments. Not enough.

He came back into the team after back to back 1-0 defeats.

And got two assists against one of the best sides in the league in our best result of the season.

Counting the Charlton game in your argument is a bit harsh. Plenty of other games he didn't play in and we scored plenty.

The problem for me is the drop-off in his value. He’s not going to sign another contract.
I assume he’s on a fairly big wage.
Last summer he could have been sold for a good fee.
He’s not going to win championship player of the season this year. It would have been fine if we had been really challenging this season, but that hasn’t been the case at any point.
With hindsight, I think it would have been better if we’d sold him in the summer, because the depreciation of a financial asset like that is something we can’t really afford.

Man United are capable of scoring when Bruno isn't playing. Doesn't mean it's smart to not play him.

That's great. Imagine if he could get fit, stop getting pointless bans, actually get around the pitch, do 90 mins regularly? He'd be a force to be reckoned with.

He could run like Bolt, be as clean as Linekar , cover as much ground as Kante and do your ironing for free on the side, and some of you would still rather be seeing Nick Montgomery out there.
