It's partly that the songs were uninspired dross (Cum On Feel The Noize? seriously?) but mostly I can't understand why anyone would want to drown out the sound of thousands of Blades singing by playing music over the speakers. EDIT: None of the songs chosen (to my knowledge) reflected, directly, the relegation. Every single one of the songs could absolutely be explained by the fact we had just won a derby. As fun as it sounds to play songs directly referencing the relegation, I suspect that wouldn`t have been seen to be "ok" by the authorities.
