I recall the Newcastle skunk kit which was basically a black shirt with a couple of token white stripes. Ill wait for tomorrow but not looking good

Just playing devil's advocate but surely the 1% is the players so the 'requirement' to make the numbers easier to read would seem to be less important than the other 99% of people who will buy it ?

Why dobt you ring adidas and tell them you dont want numbers on yours so can they change it ?

Im sure 1% of their potential customer base is so important to them they will completely revamp it

You said why base the shirt on what 1% prefer. I'm just saying that a plain back purely to make numbers more visible i.e the players is exactly the opposite.

quite agree about the numbers - I always liked the white square on the back of the shirt with the number in black. Done properly it should line up with the red stripe either side.
