I know this is an area we have struggled this year. But in a weeks time we may have five fit Championship level+ CM available to us. I am not sure this is the highest and best use of any funds we may have available to us. Riedewald has to play if fit, which leaves only 1 spot for 4 players. Unless there is something we don't know about the extent of Jairos injury.

For me I would pool all our available transfer budget and get another target man. We needed one before the season, bringing Bamford in completely changed the team. But he can't/won't play every minute, and as a team, its such a drop off for us when we don't have someone leading the line.

Totally agree with this. Yeah - I'd like a LW as my 2nd choice. I know O'Hare and Hamer are battling for 1 spot in a 442. But if we start both in 4231 then this allow us to change it up (and Hamer is rarely good for 90min).

With that said, I've always liked it when Burrows plays LW. Not a direct winger, but he has incredible delivery, and if we are piling players into the box chasing a goal he's a good option out there as a David Beckham style winger.

If so hes toeing the company line as hes said on numerous occasions how supportive the board are being in backing his plans. He also said hed given the 4 players he wanted to the board at the start of the window. Im guessing the Wolves full back was one of them so potentially 3 left but with time running out.

If we'd got results v's Charlton, Southampton and Mansfield, I think we'd be going for it. I think those dropped points/Knockout have made the board think twice about investing this window. What does it mean long term though, that the board are only willing to spend money on players should they have parachute payments? The club will spend all its time languishing in the lower end of the table in the championship if thats the case.
God knows how much they pay for these loan fees, it must make more sense to have assets that they own rather than paying dead money?
