New Kit for next year?

It'll be Thursday when the players are available to model it

I think all that sort of stuff has already been done, according to what I heard. The photographs for launch were taken a couple of weeks ago. It maybe a glitch with getting the main sponsor on the shirts for sale, rather than agreeing a sponsor.

Then why hasn't there been an announcement regarding the shirt sponsor SEB?

Model what? All we've been delivered is a box of rectangles and no matter how much I love this club, I have no interest in looking at a group of men naked except for rectangles pinned to their chest.

They've already done the 'naked modelling', a painted Kozzy wasn't it

That's awfully red!! I hope we don't have a plain back. Having said that.. The template there is the one we want...

Hope that's just a stock image

I hope we do have a plain back, when the numbers are on a striped back its difficult to see the number if you're colour blind

Who would pre-order a shirt at £45 when we don't even know what it looks like

Apparently they're revealing more in the next few days.

ou've had a glimpse of it - now you can get the real thing!

The new Blades home shirt can be pre-ordered online from today (1st July) until Sunday (6th July) at www.sufcdirect.co.uk

It is the only way to receive your shirt before they go on general sale in the Superstore on 12th July.

Retail Manager Lisa Crossland said: "Over the coming days we will be revealing more of the shirt before it is fully unveiled on Friday the day before the re-opening of the store which is closed for rebranding."

Adults shirts are £45 (shorts £25); Junior shirts are £35 (shorts £20)

Fine for the shirts on the players on the pitch but the replicas should have a striped back. If I could be bothered I'd look back through the thread for the Brentford teaser images to see how they compared to the actual kit.

Didn't we last get promoted in a kit with a solid back ;)

What if you only want the socks, because you don't want to look like a full kit wanker now do ya;)

Me..... :)

Or i would if the club's security was up to scratch which it isn't.

As a point of order, never trust a website that will send you your password in an email, and especially not with your card details. If they can send you your password, then it they are not storing those passwords securely, and if they're not storing the passwords securely, then you can bet your arse they're not storing your credit card details securely either.

Have you told them about that?

Actually maybe i'm being a bit harsh here. They send you a new password rather than your existing one, however they do not force you to change that temporary password when after you've logged in for the first time.

What they should do is send the user a password reset link.

I'll take a stab at the new sponsorship.

Something Arabian, with Crossed-Swords on it.

Some arabic script would look good, at least better than roman script because 'we' can't read it.

Its like when you hear a Chinese chap having a mandarin/cantonese 'phone conversation on the train its not half so irritating as an Englishman doing the same thing, if only because you don't hear the time-worn salutation, "I'm on the train" followed by the desperate and superstitious valediction " bye, bye, bye........bye, love u, bye ba-bye." (the number of 'byes' in inverse proportion to the security of the relationship)

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and suggest adidas my have had as much of a shocker with this kit as they had with the Southampton red with white pinstripes shirt... From the two leaked images I've seen, the majoritively red tease from the club and the tiny rectangle snapshot above... I'm saying we will be getting a fully red shirt, one large white stripe down the left hand side where the badge is, and white adidas stripes on the shoulders and emblem on the right... I sure hope I'm not right... Awful lot of red on that club tease... Good news however, black shorts and white socks confirmed on club shop
