Ipswich as a club are the polar opposite of what we have become over recent seasons.

Been in the PL and dropped back down again, as have we (×2)

They have invested in real quality and blended it with younger players all with pace and power.

We have sold the crown jewels again and again (cos we have to get a fee if they've run their contract down)

And the cash that we have spent has been wasted on very poor unmotivated wastrels who nobody else wanted.

Will we ever learn or will we keep repeating the same mistakes over and over?

I think it bears pointing out that, with the exception of Ramsdale, we did not do this on relegation in 2021. We kept our better players and developed a generational talent. We got to the playoffs and were then promoted at a canter.

We sold the crown jewels after that, granted, but we did not sell the farm in 2021.

“They are 17th for a reason” : how true !!

it does look a nailed on away win but these games against the top clubs usually bring the best out of us and our crowd ive a feeling we could sneak a win but wilder has to start our best 11 available or they will be out of sight after first 20

Liam Delap, Omari Hutchinson? Probably no worse than any of the crown jewels we sold.

Once again, it depends on which Blades team turns up. If it's the one that beat Leicester on NYD then we have a good chance. If it's the one that lost in midweek, then no chance.
It's weird how Reidewald has suddenly become so important to the way we play. If we start with Blaster and Peck in the middle, it will be a struggle. Neither player at fault I might add as both are clearly returning from injury, we just don't currently have many other options there.

We didn’t beat Leicester on NYD. Also it won’t be that team since half the players are missing from it. This will be ugly today.

Another 5-0 defeat. We are shocking especially with that backline. Wilder to come out after saying we should have got something
