Or it could be used to help plug the gap once the parachute payments run out.
Yes, that is probably more the reality at this stage.

100% - that is exactly where we will be in the summer if we don’t go up ( now very unlikely). We are pretty much now back in the summer of 2018 - top end to mid table Championship team with no parachute money. Expect Hamer & at least 1 other to be sold for decent money which will not be reinvested - but used to offset losses .Yes, that is probably more the reality at this stage.
Yes but us chubbies aren’t paid to play pro football. He’s not “fat” but chubby for a player imhoThe same people who say footballers are fat are generally same people who look like this.
Ridiculous comment saying hes fat. Most people wish they were same body % fat as him.
Maradona wasn't to bad eitherYes but us chubbies aren’t paid to play pro football. He’s not “fat” but chubby for a player imho
Not about the other strikers form, but you need 5 strikers in your squad, particularly with two up top. It doesn't seem like they are willing to give One minutes and unless we decide to give up on Ings, I don't see a loan coming in to be striker number 5. So, I think using Gus there occasionally is not a bad idea, he is still an excellent finisher even when out of form, particularly striking across the goal right to left, where we often struggle, particularly on counter attacks and one on ones.Just a thought but other than Bamford none of our forwards are cutting the mustard
could we play Gus as the second striker?
He’s renting the mansion in marsh LaneI’ve been told he has just bought a house at Marsh Lane which seems odd if he’s going but also might be a load of shite
As ever UTB!
Buy to RentHe has
He handled his career wellMaradona wasn't to bad either
He's probably been trying to make himself cheap enough for a Dutch club to afford. He's probably succeededthe difference with hamer against illie and mgw is that they both put the effort in hamer is playing like a player who knows hes on his way and trying not to get injured i think hes on his way back to holland
Surely there's no chance, would be surprised if he went to Coventry or Ipswich, never mind another midtable team.Doubt he’d end up at Wrexham.
If he did then I see Brighton have made Tommy Watson available for loan.
Wouldn’t be a bad addition.
Yesterday may have changed the thinking a little. Win next weekend and then have the Oxford game in hand and that probably tips the scale to see if we can mount an unlikely Play Off push.Surely there's no chance, would be surprised if he went to Coventry or Ipswich, never mind another midtable team.
Assume he'll end up abroad like Anel and Souza.
And went off with cramp.
Went down at the far side of the pitch, then walked slowly off with the physio. Smart use of the dark artsAfter not playing properly for a few weeks it will have been a planned substitution.
He saw cannon getting ready and went down to take the sting out of the game a bit.
Hell have known in advance he was going off around the 70 minute mark.
He might have been feeling the pace of the game a bit after putting a decent shift in. It was right in front of me and it certainly looked like he was intentionally slowing the game down a bit which is pretty common practise.

Still a key player for us, for 60 mins a game at least. Would hate to see him sold to a rival and I’m not sure he’s going to be worth much more now than he is in the summer so we may as well keep hold of him until then.
i thought that as well surely he wouldnt have started.yesterday if he was being sold just a pity we made a balls of the last 2 away games where we should have got 4pts that would have sat us 6/7 points off a play off place with a game in hand and bamford's stupid 2.yellows yesterday havent helped at allI don’t think it’s a dead cert he leaves at all.
Wilder mentioned a couple of weeks ago that they’d floated the idea of a new contract to his representatives and they were waiting to see what his appetite was like for it.
I’ll be cancelling my Disney + if we sell him last minute to shit like Wrexham.
Fair enough if he goes back home to to a big European league but not another championship club.
Danny Hall also said recently he wasn’t agitating for a move and was still happy enough in Sheffield. I don’t think Wilder starts him yesterday if he was pushing for a move.
