Moans about Berge being offside but keeps quiet about the questionable defending for our goal e.g Mcburnie being unmarked and Egan having an easy flick on. Also doesn't say anything about how their player somehow managed to get away with kicking Doyle in the chest.
And the blatent hand ball

They were pumped up and in our faces but a strong ref and we win that game

That style of football can get you out of lg 1 and it make you competitive in the championship as long as your supporters get behind it but as soon as they want to.see a modicum of football played the whole wall comes down
A bit like us with Dave Bassett.

Whinging wanker.

That's all.
Just watched his interview. What a full scale bell end he is, and all that nail biting and/or chewing his fingers during matches makes me feel sick. The finger chewing bastard !

Southampton given permission to speak to him. I genuinely can’t see the appeal, he’s the epitome of the classic football lower league management. Get a tune out of an unfancied side by playing agricultural football and creating a siege mentality. I don’t think that will work there, and that style of football has a short shelf life.

And he has already proven to be a failure at Stoke.
Although to be serious there are not many managers available as they all fish in the same pond. It’s the only profession where yiu are rewarded for being crap, I give you Steve Bruce as an example.
QPR have to be applauded for bringing in Michael Beale, like a breath of fresh air.

I'm genuinely surprised that Hecky isn't even getting a mention when these jobs come up, most successful manager in the championship in the last year, I'm glad mind you, strange all the same

It's an odd one. Luton look like a really physical team, pumped up to bully teams and effective at it for sure. I didn't see anything they do that a team needs in the premier League.

Completely agree. I’m not sure pure physically is enough these days.

Not usually a fan of his but a decent interview to be fair.

Complimentary

It was a really common sense interview. And the whinging Charlton fans should just reflect on his comments rather than wanting him sacked. If they stay up 4th from bottom that will have been a fantastic season. These are the same fans who ended up moaning about mid table mediocrity in the old 1st Division under Alan Curbishley and pretty much pushed him out………they should remember that & recall how things went after he left.
