Probably his wages ! He was on prem money at Bournmouth ! Rangers must be paying him a wedge so he will obviously hope to maintain that.
Cant see any championship club matching them so its Rothwells choice of club if a deal is struck with a club ! we must be in the mix.Rangers would probably love to get him off the payroll with a club paying some of his wages.

i think he will sign for us i reckon bamford has had some influence on this deal

I have a feeling if he does sign he'll be one big disappointment.
All the hype by the Sensible Soccer fans on here, but can not get a game in probably one of the worst Premier Leagues on the planet.
Sets a few alarm bells ringing for me.

Not if we have matos exiting (or any one else from midfield).

Bringing both in would make sense if one is a perm and would give us something like this ....

Jairo Rothwell Neil Somoure (all battling it out)

Davies & Arbalaster to have a proper recovery and return to fitness without being thrown in.

I do like Dan Neil but had him down as more of a DM?
We already have Jairo playing that position brilliantly, though admittedly no competition.

Neil's a great age (great aaaaaage) and definitely one we should go for if we can and the numbers work. He'd future proof our midfield (particularly when you consider the likelihood is there'll be no Peck or Hamer next season).
