I'm inclined to agree that someone is having a good old laugh sockpuppetting and putting these posts up and watching the reaction.

I'd suggest therefore everyone stops reacting.

Given how Fallowfield went down back a few years ago and how it all ended, the board moderators probably wouldn't tolerate a repeat of that if it were him.
