3 potential Goalkeepers

Last night again proved we are nowhere near top six in a very ordinary division
The fact that we are likely to start new years days game in the bottom three say everything
but we should be with the squad weve got even with our horrendous start even more so as you said a very very ordinary championship even pig fans couldnt believe hull were 4th they thought they should have beaten them

noticed today commentators mentioned angus gunn as forest 3rd choice keeper worth a punt next month ?

We need someone thats for sure.

Was told today Cooper is having 2 painkilling injections a week just to get him to 80% fit for a match.

No idea how true it is, but wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.

This is such a poor position for us, if rumours are true as are playing Cooper with and injury cos we don't trust Davies this is definitely a position weve neglected.

Looks to me like his back that’s giving him problems, but look at the toss pots in front of him and the set up when the opposition has the ball,we get too narrow and allow the ball to come in too often,it keeps carrying on game after game. Anel made it look easy sometimes.

Chong gave no support to Seriki at all as he was never there and we all know that Hamer on the other side has only got a foul and not a tackle in him subsequently both wings in midfield and subsequently full back positions are exposed.
It happens week after week, great when we have the ball but useless when we don’t.
Subsequently cooper or whoever are left too exposed

Never seen him play, but just for a laugh, how about a cheeky bid for Pierce Charles from the sty? Highly thought of apparently and they’re desperate for some income. Down side is that any money they raise would probably be a lifeline for em, when really I’d prefer to see em go under.

He's no great shakes
Great distribution below average keeper

To allow Cooper to recover properly if needed.

Start with the obvious one;

Sam Tickle - Wigan

Arguably the best shot stopper in League One currently with a save percentage of over 75%. However Wigan are aware of his value and contracted till 2028. Probably wouldn't be able to get him for under 5 mill.

Viljami Sinisalo - Celtic

When at Exeter was in top 90th percentile in EFL for goals prevented, and was voted Exeter player of the year. However since moving to Celtic has not been given the game time he was hoping for.

Killian Cahill - Leyton Orient

Having a breakout season similar to when Trafford was at Bolton. High volume of clean sheets and cleansheet streaks, regularly winning man of the match. At just 22 looks like going to have a big future in front of him.
Fraser Forster on a free

Slonina at Chelsea
McGill at Brighton
King at Everton
Meslier 😂😂
Angus Gunn
Hladky at Burnley

I'd like to take a look at Anthony Patterson on loan for the rest of the season. Played a vital role for Sunderland last year but finds himself currently benched. It should ease the load on Cooper (if previous talk of injuries is anything to go by) and give us a chance to reassess in the summer.

He's not actually that good, but I'd trust him over this iteration of Cooper who I feel we're badly exposing at the moment.

I'm not sure if Sunderland will be keen to let him out, mind.

patterson or gunn for me although doubt forest will let him out now their first choice keeper is out ive a feeling we will go for patterson sure wilder has been interested in him previously

Hes as good as we can hope for, though Mackems would proberbly want to keep him

Patterson would only come if guaranteed first team football otherwise he might as well continue on the bench in the Premier League

We potentially are looking at signing 2 keepers in the summer at the rate we are going. Davies contract ends in the Summer surely we are getting rid, Grbić although we have another year on it we don't have a recent record of keeping him here so we will be looking to offload. That leaves us with Cooper and Faxon. Faxon (2028) is no where near backup standard or Championship level yet and needs minutes so needs a season loan and then to reassess that then leaves us with just Cooper. Ideally we need someone in to fill in for Davies short term now so we can send Faxton out on loan until the end of the season. That will help us speed up the process to understanding where he is at standards wise.
