After one of the best performances of the season it seems churlish to start with a negative but...what happened to Coops? They didn't do much all day bar put a couple of corners under the crossbar, should be food and drink for the keeper as it's straight to him but he flapped at all of them. Didn't catch it, didn't punch it, just flapped it away. Thankfully they were fucking shite but a better team than them will see that and definitely use it against us.

Nice, easy game for Blaster to play his way back to fitness. He tried a bit too hard on occasion where playing basic football would have been better but all in all, he should be fully back at it in the next few weeks. Thought Gus was sloppy with the ball, but in the next breath he plays a cracking pass, what a great player but what a frustrating one, if only he was more consistent.

O'Hare does the running of ten men. He's everywhere, his attitude is outstanding and he's a player we're lucky to have.

best thing for me today though was Bindon! Since he's come back in he's looked a completely different player to the one receiving instructions from Selles and today's man of the match performance was a joy to watch. If he keeps going as he has been doing we might just have a diamond here. I hope so because we've really struggled since Soutts left so fingers very much crossed.

There’s an issue with Coops I think. No idea what it is but something isn’t right.

We need capable back up in January

Coops weakness is corners and teams have spotted this and playing on it .Hes not the biggest so has to show more bottle at corners and be more physical. The opposition are crowding him out! Have we got a player who can support him ! He is showing signs of panic stations.
Only time brum looked dangerous was the 4 corners which we struggled to clear.
Jack Charlton is the 1st player i can remember who used to intimidate goalkeepers ! Its becoming quite a weapon now against smallish keepers like Coops, pickford has similar problems but he is more aggresive at getting to the ball.It is something coops has to improve and quickly .

Must admit, I felt a bit of a wanker watching that pantomime last night. I hope Jake Pauls jaw really is broken and he's spending the weekend in agony.

He had some teeth removed and has had two plates fitted to his jaw.

AJ proper fucked him up. 👊

Jake Paul seemed to want to just hug his leg from the highlights I saw.

I watched it all mate, and it was painful. Paul was like one of those little dogs that old ladies have, running around then trying to hump Joshuas leg. Even the ref said 'People have paid to see a fight so stop this shit and get fighting '.

The audience was what you'd expect, fucking Klingons who didn't have a clue about boxing but probably went home happy, thinking they'd seen a fight.

Big jack knew how to do it and when.cooper is nowhere good enough to be like your past keepers..Kelly. Kenny.henderson.simon Tracey etc

If people are worried about Coops physicality , they should note that he is like the Kraken compared to little Luke Faxon who'd be blown away by a stiff breeze.
C'mon United , sort this pdq.

What you are hoping for is a keeper better than Davies, who is available in January and who is prepared to spend half a season probably on the bench.
Perhaps not a large group to pick from ?

Good point - these things are tricky.
A lot depends on whether Coops is in fact due an operation and whether it is negligent of the club to keep playing him.
If not , then a younger but more robust lad could be considered.
But if there's a chance of surgery becoming urgent , then an older pro maybe from a PL club (Wet Sham ? 🤣) might have to come and justify his London salary in Sheffield

Hopefully he would spend his London salary in town and boost the local economy !
As you rightly point out it hinges on Cooper’s fitness to comfortably complete the season.
