Signing Bindon on a permanent seems like a good move at the price Forest paid, if the club genuinely believe he has potential to be at least a Championship player. It's definitely preferable to using a loan space on a fourth choice centre back.
As others have said though, that would mean we've spent a significant amount of our budget on two prospect centre backs (and one of them has used up a foreign transfer slot), which doesn't seem like the best move for the here and now. The here and now has to be the priority given our parachute payment situation, and the fact we've given ourselves a chance of making the play offs.
