NZ are in the World Cup, so you'd think he'll want to play somewhere to give himself any chance of making the squad
He's nailed on for a place in the squad (barring injury). Whether he starts is a different matter.

TBH I'd like to see how Zatterstrom performs at Championship level before signing Bindon permanently.

Tanganga and Mee is our best combo.

And Bindon isn't good enough to warrant playing Tanganga out of position.

When McGuinness is back, I'd stick him straight in.
have to agree captain thats why i suggested maybe trying mcallum at lcb while mee is out he wins most headers tanganga has to go back to playing rcb imo

Signing Bindon on a permanent seems like a good move at the price Forest paid, if the club genuinely believe he has potential to be at least a Championship player. It's definitely preferable to using a loan space on a fourth choice centre back.

As others have said though, that would mean we've spent a significant amount of our budget on two prospect centre backs (and one of them has used up a foreign transfer slot), which doesn't seem like the best move for the here and now. The here and now has to be the priority given our parachute payment situation, and the fact we've given ourselves a chance of making the play offs.

You would think that the reason we haven't seen Zatterstrom is due to one of two things:
  1. Bindon is further forward in his development (better than him)
  2. Zatterstrom is going out on loan in January - if he plays for us, he can't, as he's already played for Malmo in the CL Qualifiers this season

Is he the unlikely winner of this run of 3 games? Surely if Mee isn't fit he's now the deputy, rather than that big sack of shit.

Gone from a cert to go back to a must keep in my book. He was better than Tanganga on Tuesday and didn't put a foot wrong in the 1 and half games he played.

I'm not sure if he's stronger than McGuiness, neither of them scream brute, but he's better positionally, he's a bit quicker and reads a game better. Far better in possession. More aggressive.

Think wilder thought his backs up had done so well the other lads. Would be chomping at the bit
He forgot that some of these guys had thrown the towel in pre season onwards and have pea sized hearts

Young Tyler needs to channel his Great Grandad’s killer instinct

Looked class today. I'd like to see have to defend a bit more before assessing him fully though.

Played a major part in the third goal, breaking the lines with a direct forward pass while they were trying to press.

Exactly right. If he withstands a bombardment at Wrexham then I’ll know he’s a real player. Today was too easy.

I think both Bindon and Forest will want assurances that Bondon is going to be first choice in the second half of the season or at the very least that he'll get more minutes. Both will be aware that when Mee comes back that Bindon could be on the bench again.
