Just been released by Leeds. Maybe he might be able to get back to his best with a fresh start - had a decent season in the PL under Bielsa but seemed to fall dramatically out of favour with the manager and fans.

He's always making those penetrating runs in behind. He and Bamford looked a natural partnership with PB coming short and linking the majority of the time. I don't think we've had as many runs off the ball from a front two all season. Wide areas need work in January

Him simply being someone who can play that position properly has accounted for most of the difference. Then he has a clear touch of quality too, as well as the experience which will be very valuable. Hopefully stays fit

Campbell needs to play off.
Bamford can play as a one or as a pair.
Campbell and Cannon are better when paired with a player like Bamford who reads the game so well, can hold off the physical challenge and still control it, as well as doing summat clever with the possession he wins.
It’s all about partnerships and pairings in team sport and Bamford brings out the best of those around him. Similar to what Reideweld is doing. Their class makes them a class above.

This. He (like Didzy) is an intelligent player. He might not be best placed to score, but he'll know what to do to make someone else be in that position. The game isn't all about pace and power. Sometimes you need a smart, canny player to unlock a defence. From all I've seen of Bamford so far, he can do that. Give him a contract in January or someone else will.

He took his goal well today, it was that quick run to split the defenders and a great header. When he signed at the time of Championship appearances he was one to score once in every 3 games and I thought if he could bag us 7 to the end of the season (if signed on) he could easily make the difference. For me personally he has done enough to justify a longer term contract, especially if we are likely to be in this league again next season, without the “luxury signings” that you can afford as a relegation side from the Premier League, it would be good to tie down a quality striker for no fee.
