It was Eddie McCreadie
Just need a song for him nowGo on then, I’ll stick my neck on the line. He will prove the doubters wrong and we will all be singing his name in a few weeks.
He's already scored more goals than McPub would have scored had we resigned him!Another great showing from him today. I wouldn't object to signing him for the rest of the season.
Just been released by Leeds. Maybe he might be able to get back to his best with a fresh start - had a decent season in the PL under Bielsa but seemed to fall dramatically out of favour with the manager and fans.
Worth a punt?
He knew he was scoring that header as soon as it was chipped towards him.As much as I want to hate him he's got a real strikers instinct.
Baked eye?All of a sudden we look to have four good options we can rotate (Campbell also looks fitter to the baked eye). Impressed again with Cannon's off the ball movement. He's always making those penetrating runs in behind. He and Bamford looked a natural partnership with PB coming short and linking the majority of the time. I don't think we've had as many runs off the ball from a front two all season. Wide areas need work in January
Both lovely footballers to watchBamford has a McGoldrick feel about him.
No.Anyone brave enough to admit that Chris Wilder got it right and they got it wrong?
Yep, we said that in the BLUT today.Bamford has a McGoldrick feel about him.
It’s not that. He’s been absolutely outstanding. Really highlights how poor Campbell has been too unfortunately. With PB we have a real focal point, ball sticks and he holds it up. Him and Hamer today took us to that next level.
McPub - 11 games, 7 goals, 3 assists???????He's already scored more goals than McPub would have scored had we resigned him!
This. He (like Didzy) is an intelligent player. He might not be best placed to score, but he'll know what to do to make someone else be in that position. The game isn't all about pace and power. Sometimes you need a smart, canny player to unlock a defence. From all I've seen of Bamford so far, he can do that. Give him a contract in January or someone else will.Bamford has a McGoldrick feel about him.
I agreeAlways disliked him for his antics in the past but he is a very good footballer.
View from Leeds supporting supplier: "he moves like he's made of concrete now"...
He'll fit right in.
