All those comments about an attendance that is wrong. Even their attendance joy doesn't last long.

Nobody tell them even 23,000 would be more than they averaged when their Carlos galactico team got to the play off final

In fairness they filled both tiers at millwall tonight on a wednesday night.

But in reality, what does that mean? Doesn't matter if you get 70'000 every week or 7'000 if your team's shit. Have you seen their fan base? Fat old women with unkempt ginger hair and no front teeth, decked out in the obligatory scarf, wooly hat with a pompom on it and blue and white mittens with nicotine stains on them.

As to the male variety, 14 to 16 year olds with bald bollock bags, fake Stony coats with the patches on the wrong sleeve, wanting to feight until it's even numbers then disappearIng into the night with shit running down their little legs. Old fat fuckers like Pitsmoor Pig (what the fuck was that fucking jacket all about 😱), shouting at the moon, wondering how it stays up there in the night sky, giving it the big 'un safe behind the coppers. No Pig fans in town, it's more than just a song 😉

Scruffy, inbred bunch of wankers don't deserve credit for anything. Just a stone age club with Neanderthal followers who wouldn't be missed by anyone if they went bust and gave us all a break.

UTBFTP 👊👊👊

Not sure why the SU twitter says 25,625.

When at the match on the scoreboard it said 25,785.
The BBC initially recorded it aa 23,785 but a couple of hours later the BBC changed it to 25,785

To be honest I saw the BBC figure and thought 23,785 was poor. Would have been the lowest attendance for 7 years.
Then I realised Sheff Utd have over 23K season ticket holders who are auto counted whether they attend or not,
so it’s very difficult for any attendance this season to be below 25K….there would need to be hardly any away fans.

They care more about our attendances than we do.

Seriously, 2 days away from the last pay day before Christmas, freezing fucking cold. I wouldn't blame anyone for staying at home tonight.
And don't forget Bonfire Night. We've only just had Bonfire Night. People are still probably paying off their fireworks.

Wendy fans obsession with trying to pretend they are a massive club and that attendances play a large part in proving this is just another of the many delusions they desperately cling on to , even though the the actual statistics show this to be a complete fallacy .

I seldom visit Porktalk but occasionally can’t resist the urge to do so and when I do , I am completely mystified but often highly amused by some of the stuff they come out with in respect of the massive delusion .

On a recent visit I came across a poster who said , apparently in all seriousness , that he had been told that Leeds fans were looking over their shoulder and starting to get anxious about Wednesday’s resurgence !

I doubt very much that in footballing terms ,the definition of that word includes being demoted to the third tier with a squad of players that have little or no value playing in a stadium that needs £millions spending on it qualifies for that description , but it exemplifies the level of self deception they have sunk to and I am now finding it all rather tedious .

Your lot just as bad talking about attendances..with us 🤣
Because your fan base constantly uses them in attempt to show how massive you are, despite the facts contradicting this.

You never see any blades banging on about is being in the same bracket as Everton, Villa, Newcastle based on hot air.

‘ even Leeds are bricking it’ was the opinion offered by one of their cult.

Not sure why they gave them the bottom tier.

Millwall Ticket Office: “Hello, SWFC. We’re just doing the ticket allocation for next month. How many do you think you’ll need?”

S6 Ticket Office: “We have the biggest support in Europe, so we’ll need at least 100,000”.

Millwall Ticket Office: “Ok. Our ground is a bit smaller than that. How about we give you the top tier, which is nearly 3,000”

S6 Ticket Office: “You’re joking? We took 40,000 to QPR and average more than 60,000 at the Old Lady. We had 125,000 against Peterborough. We’ll be needing the top and bottom tier. Plus two of the main stands, minimum.”

I can’t imagine that Leeds fans give any thought to us and/or Wednesday at all, unless they happen to be either playing us or are in a promotion race with one of us.

I got a taxi in York this morning and the driver (a Liverpool fan) was chatting to me about Sheffield football. He said “I’ve got a soft spot for Wednesday. They get 40,000 every week even though they’re in administration.”

How do they get such utter bollocks to become received wisdom?? Politicians would love to get their hands on whatever brainwashing magic the Swine use.

You know what I would take comfort in if they beat us 3-0 in our own back yard? Having a laugh at their next home gate even if it was higher than our average attendance for the season.

It's actually insane how utterly mindbroken they are by statistical variation between the numbers of around 19-32,000. Savant-like.
