Been spoken about a lot on here, and they really are fantastic, I love watching them. Even get quoted a lot amongst my friends (none of whom are Blades, but love the videos that much!). However, on the OS, it says 'here is a short snippet' so how long are the videos in total? and is there any way of getting hold of the full version elsewhere?

I know you'll all have seen them, but just in case no one has, here's a personal favourite....

The first few I found a bit awkward to watch, I wondered if the site was trying to filler some content in a slightly different way.

I can't say I enjoy or look forward to the comedy value of these clips, but what I appreciate about them is how it shows that NC has identified and utilised the positive resource that Morgs is to Sheffield United. Before NC was appointed, I tweeted Jim Phipps asking that whoever came in was made aware of how valuable an asset the club already has ready-made, waiting to work for them. He responded saying it had already been done but I was still sceptical because Managers tend to want their own staff assembled and see anything lingering as potential resistance.

Weir came in and instantly alienated Morgan, often in the stands throughout games. Clough came in and utilised Morgans knowledge of the club, he often confers with him and Garner in the dugout. As much as I loved the Weir statue/Carsley 'clap like a seal at every four yard pass' touchline etiquette, I know which one I prefer...

Getting loved and Weir into the same sentence; impressive

Got to say I find these little clips hilarious. Garner has clearly sussed Morgs and plays on his clearly legendary status at the club. The latest one about Morgans phone is brilliant.

Maybe it's my age, maybe it's my mood, but I find it all a bit forced and lacking any natural humour; just two ordinary blokes a bit outside their comfort zone trying to provide entertainment and pretty much flogging a dead horse.

I am pleased Morgan is included in the coaching team, even though I generally hate to see hordes of support staff in and around the dugouts. Having said that I like to see the manager in the stands where he can see more of the game. At least Clough stands back and leaves it to Garner to patrol the touchline, except at Wembley where strangely he occupied the technical area.

I see Garner as Clough's "Peter Taylor". Whenever Clough senior and Taylor were separated there were problems. Tweedle dum and tweedle dee, chalk and cheese but one no good without the other. It is amazing that Clough and Garner have allowed Morgan in, but it cements the integration into the United culture and has to be a good thing.

I hope Clough is with us for many years, in which case Morgan will have to cut his teeth elsewhere as a manager. I think that is just how it should be. Only if Clough leaves sooner rather than later would Morgan become our next manager and it would be a cheap option in a dire situation. I reckon Clough will elevate us beyond appointing rookie managers in future -fingers crossed.

Woops! Sorry, all this little to do with the OP!!

First post after a long time lurking. I just want to disagree with Woodwardfan on the fact that he thinks that in some way it is all forced and Morgan has been shoe-horned into doing these videos to provide entertainment. I actually think they have a really good piss taking rapport that a lot of people who work together day in- day out have. I would love us to have a solid backroom staff who have both respect and a good laugh with/jokey respect for each other.

A solid foundation is exactly what we need for a solid future. Don't be cynical that true football people can't have a laugh with each other and still have a massive amount of respect for each other. We don't have to live in a "What Brian was like at Forest" era, Nigel is his own man. Yes he follows his father in not wanting to be a coach and wanting more control over things than that, but trying to pigeon hole him is not productive at the moment, because apart from being loyal to backroom staff there are very few similarities to how his father worked. For instance he is massively involved in all aspects of the the club from training the first team to watching the reserves and academy HIMSELF which his father showed very little interest in. I think to see him as a pale imitation of his father is where a lot of us are going to go wrong. You already have the 'if we don't get automatically promoted next season I want to know why' brigade. It's quite depressing how we are so quick to criticise anything positive this club does. These videos are positive. they aren't beating the crap out of each other. Just take them for what they are. Have a laugh and be realistic for next season; we are on the up AT LAST!

Sound post but about as relevant to my post as mine was to the OP! My oblique reference to the Clough/Taylor partnership was meant to show how big a deal it was for them to let Morgan into their working team, nothing more. My main point should have been that they are not very funny, but that's just my opinion, and it's great that others enjoy the rapport.

Welcome to the forum, great first post.

A memorable debut. Well done.

The second paragraph is a bit long, though, don't you think?

Thanks for the feedback. On reflection the second paragraph does need a bit of editing.

I'll keep it snappier next time I promise.

Pinchy ,what are your thoughts on Morgs ? I was a bit unsure as to whether it would work ,but the defence has been superb and I think he is proving a big success. I know your stance on 'Bladeyness' might get in the way but this is one that is surely working out.

I admired Morgan as a player. He was, at his best, a very good centre-back and a great leader, full of courage and commitment. He was not a footballing centre-half but even I don't demand that every defender be a Beckenbauer.

As a coach, we ought to remember that he was given the job, like Cresswell, as a cost-saving exercise rather than because of any obvious ability in that discipline.

I thought his first spell as caretaker manager was very poor, notable for basic errors and naivety. Once the initial 'upanatem' factor wore off there was really nothing else there. He did better the second time.

When Nigel took over, I felt his retention of CM was a smart bit of PR and that the former would gradually fade into the background and ultimately move on. Whether or not that was the case, it isn't now. Morgan has quickly become part of an effective management team. He is clearly valued by Nigel (and Andy Garner) and that is good enough for me. Clough (quite rightly) has enough self-confidence not to feel threatened by Morgan and the latter, to his credit, has swallowed any disappointment and got on with his job.

All that said, if Nigel fell under a bus tomorrow, I would not want to see Morgan appointed as a manager. That's nothing to do with my anti-Bladey instincts, just an honest view that he does not have the quality necessary to do the job successfully.

Sorry for the delay in response, I was distracted by my day-job last week! I shall make sure it doesn't happen again!

NC was never going to feel threatened by Morgan and he consults him a lot during games. No, I think it is Garner who will feel Morgan's presence more than anybody, but his own relationship with Clough is cast iron and long standing. I think Morgan's link to the development players is the key to his value in the coaching team and, as Pinchy says, this is slightly fortuitious but that's life.

Morgan needs to cut his teeth in management elsewhere before he manages us, but who's to say that's where he sees himself?
