Just watched the race. The 2:45 at Fontwell. Bizarrely, both Cannon & Godfrey unseated at the last fence. Make of that what you will.

Think that if this were the case, Wilder would tell it as it is (or nearly so). We have had a few snippets of personal issues. Could somebody close to him have died or be very sick?I think he's been frozen out of the squad by Wilder, I think he's going back to Atalanta in January, there's likely a clause of minimum games he can play before any return option becomes invalid
Not necessarily, I think you have to be canny with these sort of things, as Atalanta are banking on us paying his wages for the season.Think that if this were the case, Wilder would tell it as it is (or nearly so). Sometimes things are more important than football!
Have a wander to shirecliffe this afternoonStarting to think hes being sent back rather than other issues by the way Wilder just shut down the question.
Could be completely wrong of course but CW is very sympathetic if it genuinely is a personal or family issue and why would he not say so.
Wouldn’t think he’s played for England watching this afternoon, mind you it’s a poor game 0-0 htHave a wander to shirecliffe this afternoon
Similar thing to the Jebbison scenario maybe, not much info came out about that, hope alls well
Coz he scored loads of goals - except for us! lolDont forget Luke Beckett. What was the point of that signing ?
Not knowing is entirely the issue, though. "Personal reasons" could be anything. Not sure why people cant take a step back and think maybe that the lad has been going through something not so nice.
So many online either gossiping or slagging him without knowing the facts.

He could've caught AIDS shagging his neighbours dog for all people know. Of course they're going to wonder what's going on.
It would be very easy for the club to indicate whether or not it's "good" personal reasons or "bad" personal reasons, without disclosing personal information. Everyone will support him if he's dealing with something. But if he's done something stupid, he can fuck off.
Ironically, his best game for us was in his last game for us - Wilder's first game v Charlton. That said, he's not been good enough.
Eh? He was by some distance the worst player on the pitch in that game. McGuiness spent the first 45 minutes shouting at him about either being out of position or falling asleep....Ironically, his best game for us was in his last game for us - Wilder's first game v Charlton.
I'd like to see him play under Wilder before we write him off.

Admittedly i was watching on my phone with the sound mutedEh? He was by some distance the worst player on the pitch in that game. McGuiness spent the first 45 minutes shouting at him about either being out of position or falling asleep....
Ha ha. It was right in front of us and McGuiness was getting redder and redder as the half went on. As soon as the half time whistle went he ran over to Godfrey to give him some more 'advice' and Godfrey sprinted off towards the tunnel. Fastest he'd moved all half....Admittedly i was watching on my phone with the sound muted![]()
