He doesnt seem to have played much outside the Spurs youth ranks.

I wouldn't hold that against him. Sherwood promoted Bentaleb who had no loan experience and Stewart was on the bench for a few Europa league games.

I really do think taylor played with somebody up top would do a decent job for us ,only my opinion mind.

I presume Clough will give him and brandy till end of July to prove their worth otherwise they'll be in the shop window

I think they been in the shop window since January. Clough will want to bring new people in. There are only so many spaces in the squad given he at the same time wants the youngsters more involved. I doubt we're in the position to carry a much bigger squad than now, so it'll mean we have to create space - Brandy, Taylor, and probably Cuvellier in January, will all be off in my opinion as I can't really see any other first teamers under contract that he'll be swiftly moving out the door.

But at the same time there was quite a bit of talk about fatigue and tired legs towards the end of this season. Having a small squad can have benefits, but we can't use it as an excuse next season.

Forgot to post this earlier as iv'e been busy,but i spoke to an Hartlepool fan earlier and he seems to think they are selling someone to us but he doesn't know who.

The first thing i thought was Hartlepool? And the second thing was who have they got who we might want? and i couldn't think of anybody.

Does anyone know or has anyone heard anything on this?

The obvious one would be Luke James, he's been reported as likely to be off shortly, and was omitted from their squad at the weekend ahead of an apparent move. Peterborough have bid for him but it was rejected.

Yeah, attacking midfielder, had a decent scoring record last season and Jeff Stelling was gutted that he's leaving - thats about as much as I can offer in regards to a scouting report! Which is probably more detailed than the ones Warnock received on a few of his purchases.
