We didn’t batter them. You obviously didn’t watch the game! Their keeper had virtually nothing to do all game. Even the pen was rubbish. Sky pundits were at pains to point how slow we were all over the pitch, particularly defensively and at most key points. Wilder didn’t have a clue how to change it. He persisted with the same defensive set up and team until his pre ordained changes on the 60, 70 and 80 minute mark. The players and the manager are out of their depth and going down without a whimper or any sense of fight

The anthem of shit teams, who can't believe they are where they are and end up relegated, since time began.

Gave up a 4 on 3 from slow build up play in our own box, conceded.

Missed a penalty and other chances. Scored 0 against the worst defence in the league, a team likely to end up as part of the relegation fight. A team who'd only conceded less than 2 in 2/8 of their league games.

The match I watched was two poor sides both as bad as each other. Their goal was hardly well worked by any standards.
We weren't much better. Yes we hit the post. Had a scrambled attack in 6 yard box that on another day would have resulted in a goal. And of course we missed a pen. All of which are disappointing.
Those moaning about Wilder, how often under Selles did any of that happen.
Looking at the bigger picture, us finishing forth bottom will be a result.
Hopefully our owners (who are responsible for this mess in my eyes) will give Wilder the necessary help in January to get us in a better state than we are now.
 
Battered them!? We were easily beaten.... again.

We had all the ball because they let us have all the ball, knowing we struggle to create with 1 up top.

They had kept 1 clean sheet in 25 at home before today and had the worst defence in the league. Yeah we missed a pen and hit the post, but other than that for long, long periods, we were slow, boring and struggled.

I think we were the better team but I take no comfort from that because they were also terrible and in the end came away with a fairly easy 3 points.

We are still poor but probably deserved a point in each of the last 2 games. You couldn't say that about any game when Selles was in charge

I wouldn't say we battered them. Personally thought we deserved to win but not overwhelmingly so

In the context of the season so far people will rightfully be pissed off and as Wilder himself says it's not about performances but results but the last two games where we have lost were better than our win v Oxford imo
