Couldn't bring myself to update over the weekend, but here for the record is the goal drought tally going into the Third Wilder Dynasty.

Who if anyone is going to wipe their name off this list on Saturday?

To ask a question, and I acknowledge playoffs aren't league games, why are we only counting league games / goals scored in league games?

I can see where Panini is coming from. I get that the Goal Drought update is based on League games only, but why shouldnt it include all competitive fixtures?

I'd imagine when Peck finally breaks his duck, we'll be on the pitch?

Tradition or an old charter or something

I fail to see why O'Hare's playoff goals don't count.

I completely agree. I can see why we might exclude a goal against League Two opposition in the first round of the League Cup when both sides are playing their reserves.

However, a play off goal is surely worth every bit (or more) than a league goal, and it's very harsh to say that the player is in a 'drought' if they bagged two at that stage.

Fully agree

People can do what the hell they want.

Playoff goals are not league goals, no matter what Silent may say. They are not treated as such in league records.

But if people want to include playoff goals, league cup goals, FA Cup goals, Yorkshire and Humberside cup goals or any other goals as part of the calculation, who am I to argue.

Silent Blade I will never understand your level of vitriol towards me on this trivial issue. It does you no credit.

Play offs are competitive games!

How good is it to cross a name off the list, lads and lasses?

Callum O'Hare's priceless goal leaves just the 6 players on 10 or more league appearances since their last Blades goal.

It's played 50, scored 0 for Sydie Peck and who among us would bet against him extending that run into triple figures?

Meanwhile a late sub appearance for Tom Cannon leaves both him and Gus Hamer just one more goalless appearance away from being added to the board.

Nah, the sticklers will tell us that games in September against teams that begin with a ‘O’ don’t count, unless it’s a leap year.

So the “drought” continues.

I thought Brooks would be on the list by now seems a while since he scored, but maybe he hasn't featured much

Man, I regret resurrecting this feature. But here's the post-Southampton update anyway.

Welcome to the list, Gus Hamer and Tommy Cannon.
