In the second minute of the game a ball went out wide and Godfrey stood well off. A few minutes later on the other side McAteer (I think) got the ball, Burrows stands off and he ends up having a shot.

That was what I saw early on. And consequently they had more chances and scored goals from us doing this weird thing where we stand off, invite a player to shoot, and then look confused when they do it uncontested.

And we've done that in every game, so I can't blame individuals (like Godfrey's woeful performance). I have to think there's some instructions that either the players somehow aren't getting or are just fucking stupid.

I'm not sure if we stopped a shot or cross all night.

Nobody looks like they know what they're supposed to be doing. Selles has had new signings, had a two week break, and we somehow were even worse for it.

No defending this. Don't tell me shit about the first twenty minutes as if I hadn't already seen exactly how Ipswich were going to score.
