Can you give us some examples or reasoning behind calling him 'a great manager'.
I'll give you the fact that he has much more experience at a much higher level than Selles, Rohl and Carrick.

Carrick was available when we appointed Selles as Carrick was sacked on the 4th of June and we appointed Selles on 18th of June.

I don't see what Carrick has done that people or our board would want him. I know we won't go for Challinor but his record surpasses anyone we'll likely be linked with but it's highly unlikely he'll get back it because the board would not doubt like a higher profile candidate like Gary O'Neil who I definitely don't want after how it ended at wolves.

I think most can agree on Dyche or Cooper but it's not likely to happen otherwise why didn't we get one if them in the summer? Maybe the board would consider Cooper or Dyche now but I'm not convinced they'd take it but hopefully we will get someone with a proven record. Carrick is definitely not that.

I do really like Rohl but it seems I'm suddenly in the minority because last season I recall there were loads of our fans saying they rated Rohl higher than Wilder and some even saying they wish we had him as our manager!

I don't think that's quite true re selling his best players. Cunha was still there for starters and so was Larsen, both of which scored 30 goals between them last season. I'd read wolves fans views of O'Neil because I'm fairly sure that wolves fans were desperate for him to go in his last few months. He did do well at Bournemouth in keeping them up but they did spend big in January if I recall and then why did Bournemouth sack him?!

That’s fine as long as it’s Cooper and not someone with zero credibility. This doesn't guarantee success but minimises the risk of this shower continuing.

I want Selles to do well, same with any of our managers and players but he just hasn't helped himself at all.

The lack of willingness to change something that so obviously wasn't working is bonkers and if the rumours of him going are true, then at least there's time to claw things back, assuming we hire someone with a vague level of competency.

If we had a squad full of donkeys and we were bottom of the league then fine, someone has to be, but this group is better than bottom. We don't have to look far to find a real bunch of no-hopers that their manager is getting some vague tune out of compared to what was expected. 4th bottom would be a resounding success for them but definitely not for us.

The games we've had so far feel like how we'd have gone in the division above, clinging on, offering no threat until we finally succumb, not in a division where most of our players at least got results last season.

I recall seeing stuff from this nowdenblades twitter account before but can't remember if it was genuine or not. He's got 2600 following on twitter which sounds reasonable but I'm not expert in this.

I definitely still want him out, he's had four league games and we've been bobar in each one. If I could see progress then I'd give him longer but there is none. A crackers appointment even though I admit in the preseason the results looked promising and he seems a decent guy and I can see his logic on tactics but he's not implemented them at all; although I'm still not sure what vertical football means because to me that sounds like hoofing it directly above you to land back in the same spot!?

I’m by no means an expert either to be fair. But I would imagine if you create an account telling people what they want to hear with no accountability when it’s found to be bollocks, then it wouldn’t be hard to quickly build up a following of people wanting to be fed such bullshit

I’ve used his previous record to judge him and come to the conclusion he’s not a good coach or manager. Let’s close the transfer window and bin him off now. Fresh start for a new, competent, manager
