You could take out a loan against a contracted obligation so wouldnt be an issue - more the time to find someone to replace

It seems to me that Selles and/or the board are trying to do a lot of squad reshaping and in my view it could be too much too soon if Hamer and O'Hare leaves after Souza, Anel, Moore and maybe Burrows going. I wonder if Selles is trying to put his stamp on the squad/change the team to fit his system which is understandable but could well back fire.

He's playing Hamer too deep at the minute and we're not getting the best out of Gus as a result.

I’ve been told very similar things for 2 different people that know him Independently and one of the lads from the pinch podcast was alluding to the same.

He wants to go back to Holland for personal reasons.

Any other move would be forced by the club for a fee they see as the can’t turn down.

Hamer needs to be played in his most effective position with supporting cast alongside him, and just as importantly, he needs to be personally happy. Get thise two things in place, he can be an excellent Championship player. If one of those things isn't right, he looks a passenger.

I'm hoping it still come right for him at SUFC but he hasn't looked happy this season. Something seems to have changed with him, and maybe hes more receptive to a change of clubs now, especially with the club being in a state of flux with people going and all sorts of transfers incoming now finally happening.

I like Gus, I hope he stays, but if he does go, I'll just wish him well and hope we all move on quickly.

He isn't fit enough to play premier league and shows no signs of ever attempting to be
Only way he moves is if a club in Holland come in for him which is what he is after

I dunno for some reason I just assume this would have happened already if it was true. I wont claim he's world class but he's a great champ player and not quiiiiiiite a prem player - certainly could be.

I just get the feeling he'd have been snapped up by now, doesn't seem like the player youd do a quick grab for at the end of the window.

Some strength and conditioning to make a 28 year old grow upwards along with getting him fit

If we’re going for Solomon and Matos it might make sense. If we can get round about what we paid for him it’d be a good circulation of money instead of losing value to his age. A sustainable outlook.
