Guessing Arblaster will get half a game? Then back for middle September.

He was 'back on the grass' in May.

Manager not there - doing a presser
But he can watch it anytime like us and presumably his training games involve them
Then again his squad is made up the the better U-21's (except Blacker) so who are we putting out today and not tomorrow presumably.
I would have played SAS in a 3 at the back on Saturday - will he play?
Sitting mid option? or "Carry On 4-3-3 Regardless" as many of us fear.
4-3-3 for reserves???
Should be some new signings
Soumare not fit to come on Saturday but can play tomorrow? - not for me. Will he appear?
Thanks to Cardiff City for Youtube.
Have we signed anybody yet Dad
Full back should not be top of list but you have to take good players when available
Said we needed 3 big centre backs 1 at least left footed in summer
Now we need at least 4 no matter what Selles says
Happy days.
Ah well - we D ream on.

1-0 Cardiff at HT. Been a poor game, don't think the heat and a bone-dry pitch are helping much. Not much quality from either side except for the goal which was a good finish.

Finished 1-1. Second half much better and we were much the better side for large periods. Nice goal from Jevan Beattie, burst down the channel, went by a defender and snuck it in under the keeper. Had a similar couple of chances but got the ball stuck under his feet.

Baptiste was very good second half, looks a different class to the rest of the lads - defintely one to keep an eye on if he can stay fit. It's always difficult to say when they're playing against genuine U21s but he looks ready to step up from that level. Really strong and can play a bit too, you can tell he's been in better acadamies than ours.

Buyabu been good as well. Though I suspect we'll move him on before the month is out which is probably the right thing at this stage of his career, he needs to go and play first team football somewhere.

How much did Baptiste play? Was surprised he was fit already!

Typical modern day football.
Gave a goal away P ing about at the back - again.
Scored a goal getting the ball forward early.
'Football is a simple game complicated by people who should know better'
or as I put it #ManagersAreMorons.
(Drinks breaks FFS.)
NOT 4-3-3 or the 'inverted wingers' crap
Is Baptiste recovering fitness?
Ref lenient - eg allowed too much blocking of keepers release which I hated after seeing the Leeds and Wendy **** Wilkinson send Bobby Davison out (to pretend hopefully) to break Simon Tracy's leg when kicking clear.
ps - NOT first team type shirts.
No red patch (or white) for the numbers just black numbers on the stripes.
Take you best specs if you go to watch and not sure who the players are.

Can someone please explain to me how I mute this dickhead

U21s playing just down the road from me in a few weeks. I selfishly hope some of the more established names haven't got a loan by then as I want to see Beattie in the flesh as he seems to score every week!

I only watched the first half but he kept running into trouble. Given he's 3rd or 4th in the current pecking order I suspect he'll face the same fate as Neal.

It's a shame, I had high hopes for him. Insanely quick, tricky feet, very direct. I thought he'd passed Seriki in the development sense but seemed to regress last season.

We dodged up both his and Seriki's development but Seriki somehow came out the other end. I'd like to see him given one last shot with a L2 loan. He needs to play games at his age. If he can't hold a place at that level then we let him go.
