I liked Anel, good athlete, technically good footballer, heart of gold.

When he made his debut as the right hand CB of a 3

But he is the +1, technically able centre half. The Killa to the Morgs, the Jags to the Morgs. Whst we need is leaders, organisers. We need two promising centre halves who have real potential and resale value, to develop a partnership.
Good post apart from thecresale value bit ...would have preferred for a long term future partnership established in the next level up

So we've agreed to 20 million in fees in one day in a way. Not too shabby
Depends whers the funds are
Owner poclets or sufc hsbc current account
We will need to get to knpw the owners before we judge that one ...around jtw if were about the push

Well yeah, absolutely that. Here I am, assuming we'll be a stepping stone and need to know our place in the footballing ladder 😆 tinpot Bled.

First of all I would like to say a big thank you to all the Sheffield United supporters that have had my back ever since I arrived in 2022. We’ve been through a lot together, ups and downs. We’ve shared beautiful moments and terrible moments on the pitch, but all of that creates a forever lasting memory to cherish. I will always and forever be a Blade. Thank you for all the moments we’ve shared!

To all the staff and people working around the club, it’s been a pleasure to come in everyday and see all the positivity around the club. From both former staff members and new ones, we all always wanted the best for the club and worked towards it, so thank you for that!

I had my 2 sons born in Sheffield and it will be a city that will always be in my family’s heart. This is where we leave now. A huge thank you to everyone and I love you all ❤️

Its bad when manutd akin to a bank balance of 1 billion negative are allowed to bid 80 million for a player and nothing said from the pl
Yet championship teams scrat about hoping for promotion to see there players sold knowing they are going to have to buy from championship nearly promoteds and barca 5th reserves.
Tbf leeds ,sunderland and Burnley have thrown hell of a lot at it this time
More than any other promoted teams have ever done
If they all fail this season a rethink has to take place over the pl format
Theres simply no point, the parachute payments give you a major advantage
Our near neighbours will prob get relegated, barnsley may push for promotion give us at least chance of a local yorks match
I just cant see us getting top 6 so many doubts over the owners and manager
Rant over

Well said Anel.
Nothing but good memories and respect for his time at the Lane, especially Hecky’s promotion season.
Will follow his career with interest, and he should be guaranteed a great reception if ever he plays at the Lane

Think we will be in for shock on Sat you don't take the spine out of any team especially a tall spine and not suffer the consequences at free kicks and corners. The spine being Moore Souza Anel...Anyway bed's made now so we lay in it.
Moore only played in 50% of games. And few of those as a sub

Soumare is 6’1” to Vini 6’2”

Bindon is 6’3” to Anel 6’5”

Not suggesting we don’t need more lads in, and would love souttar if his injury allowed, but having a team of giants won’t work with new playing style.

£20m?

£2m Moore
The £15m first reported on Anel was apparently way out. Today reported as around £7m
Looking at about £9m added to the Souza £13m, although I think someone on here mentioned there’s a sell on fee re Anel sale going to Malmo?

Good player last season for us wish we could have kept him but next year he would have gone for free. Sellers got to spend wisely to cover for him what about souttar does anybody think he fits the bill ?

Hes not fit till Xmas

Sad to see him go, that first game he played for us I turned to my dad and said “he’ll be sold by Christmas” so we kept him for a lot longer than I thought we would.

Not quite up to the PL (albeit he played next to JLT so it wasn’t fair) but too good for the Championship, Dutch league will be a good move for him.

GLTTL

We really need 2 new CB’s now and not loans please.

Thanks for everything, Anel. I'm sad to see you go, and I'll miss you.

Thank you for all the fantastic memories you helped create - here's one of my favourites:

I wish you all the best for the future. Much love to you and your family. ❤️

Hopefully you'll come back and see us when you can. There'll always be a warm welcome waiting for you. Once a Blade, always a Blade.⚔️

Good player for us in the championship, liked him for his adventurous attitude sometimes. Shame to see him go,but we would have got buttons for him next season.Move on and hopefully strengthen with additions.

A player that is actually far more skillful than his performances suggest - and in there lays the frustration and conundrum.

Hoping to see him flourish and return to his national side, though sadly beyond the Lane.

McGuire required Man U (and regular top flight football) to truly push him and develop his potential.

Every success, Anel.
