Outgoing? Hamer

A lot of Palmeiras fans think Hamer might be joining them.

I truly hate pre-season. Not because we might lose players. It turns me into a sad bastard.
They wouldn't spend big on him I wouldn't think.

Their transfer record is €25m and second is €18m. After that it's €12m

We'd be looking for £15-20m surely

L..ds utd news still stirring shit about Hamer, why can't we reply that we're looking at one of theirs

The owners have money (Tom Cannon) Hamer best player in Championship, good season in prem. No club is getting him for less than 22.5M in my opinion. we will also demand it all up front, so we can replace straight away. Very few clubs are able to provide directly up front cash and is done over stints.

It is not a case of clubs not being able to pay over stints. It is just how things work 99% of the time. If PSV (or whoever) were to buy in installments, it does not hinder us in bringing in replacements in the slightest, do you see why?

You can demand it all up front if you want, but expect one of two things to happen:

a) be told to fuck off
b) be told you must only be doing this for urgent cashflow reasons, and as such our offer will be considerably less than what it would be otherwise

And b) is exactly what has been happening to the Pigs.

The owners valued Cannon at £10m.

They then must value Hamer at £20m.

Yes their American, and may not know ball like everyone on this board, but they are businessmen

£20m + would be good business IF we then reinvest into the starting 11.

I doubt there are many clubs willing to spend £20m on a Championship midfielder therefore he stays a Blade for the foreseeable

Ferris is a fucking prick though, although I like the theory that he’s purely a figment of Cameron’s imagination.
They went to a museum. They saw priceless works of art. They ate pancreas. Ferris isn't a prick, he's very popular... The sportos, the motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, wasteoids, dweebies, dickheads — they all adore him. They think he's a righteous dude.

That theory makes no sense with in the slightest scrutiny though.

Huge chunks of the film take place away from Cameron's point of view. Who is Principal Rooney chasing if there's no Bueller? Why does Jennifer Grey go through an entire separate arc, learning to be not being so resentful of her non-existant brother? Why put "Save Ferris" on a water tower if there's no such person?

John Hughes wrote comedies about teenagers. That's it. Nothing more to it. No conspiracies.

The theory is that the whole adventure is in Cameron’s fever dream while he’s ill in bed so it does stand up to your challenge. Obviously it’s not true, it’s just a bit of fun, which means unfortunately that Ferris is a bit of a cunt.
Hughes creates relatable and even likeable cunts. See also John Bender.

Imagining the whole adventure is different to just imagining Bueller, though. Is Ferris a real person but the days events are made up, or did Cameron make up the whole thing while cloth, including Ferris' family members and adversarial relationship with the Principal?

Either way, its nonsense. Not a single person working on Ferris Bueller's Day off conceived it as a fever dream or extended delusional breakdown.

By "Reinvest into the starting 11", do you mean like, buy a new computer for the scouts, and a program of every football club, and it's players, in Estonia?

No. That’s just dumb

Buy 1 or 2 starting 11 players that make the team better
