Outgoing? Kieffer Moore

I wouldn't be totally against this and Wrexham would be a great move for him, some seem to have it in for him for whatever reason and have from the start. Replacement would be they key. We look a small team at the minute and Moore leaving doesn't help that so along with pace it would need to be someone be a fair bit about them physically.

He is just frustrating me now, every time he plays. He is fine with his back to the goal, linking play and getting into CBs, but as soon as he has the ball at his feet going forward, his brain turns to mush. I am struggling to think about a time recently where I have seen a similarly experienced player, have such horrendous judgement and decision making abilities.

He's fucking shit. That's what you're looking for.

He doesn't release the ball quickly enough to those around him either, he seems to hang on to the ball too long and slow the play down.

While we didn’t really get enough balls into the box for Kiefer to get on the end of, his injury record and wages would make this very tempting if I was Selles.

Happy to sell him if we can get a decent fee out of it. He had “average performances and scoring record, constantly dividing opinion until leaving on a free” written all over him. I can’t imagine it’ll be too hard to find a decent replacement.

I stuck up for him over the playoff final screw up because people make mistakes but f*ck me, that really was atrocious. Mind-blowing.

Despite the perceived delusions of grandeur, this season will be all about consolidation for Wrexham.

Players like Windass and Moore are excellent targets, to that end, the first objective being to keep clear of a relegation battle (for the two remaining places).

There are only four clubs in the division with parachute payments, one of which is likely to be hit with a big points deduction. Wrexham already have revenues of a top half Championship club and no particular PSR issues. There is no reason to think they won't be closer to the playoffs than the drop. Can say much the same about Birmingham

So we are stupid enough to sell him to a rival in the championship, who are about to sign O'Brien from forest????? Really????

Mixed thoughts if Moore goes. When we signed him I was expecting a commanding centre forward but he isn't particularly aggressive or dominant in the air although he's not poor neither in the air. As others have said he makes too many poor decisions such as shooting himself when he should have passed to Campbell at Wembley. Baring in mind we have four forwards potentially for one central spot I can imagine that Moire may be sold. He'll probably suit Wrexhams style more than he has with us.

Decent pro and he ryd ok last season but I was expecting more from him, npardin the pun.

I wish he was fine with his back to goal in the play off final!

If we sell I think the conclusion is that we do then need to have a plan to replace.

Don’t just sell on the basis of its good to save wages and the fee will help worh running costs, actually have some players linked up.

That free pool is getting more sparse. Not for us, more for Wednesday if Lowe was sold, but Kenneth Paul went to Turkey so now there are very limited left back and keeper options on the pool.

Do we really need to replace him? Campbell, Cannon and Oné should be enough. And maybe the plan is to give Marsh a chance, as well.

Campbell is quality and way out in front as my first choice but injury prone and struggles to complete 75 minutes when fit.

Cannon I certainly wouldn’t want to rely on as our sole striker and Oné is massively unproven and inexperienced. Not surpised he’s trying both out on the left wing. Marsh is no central striker either IMO.

I think we need another striker already, even without Moore potentially leaving!

I thought he was a good signing last summer, but he's been pretty underwhelming.

Out of interest who was the last big target man we had who was any good?

We lost brewster to that was usually a striker, throw in a Campbell injury then id be very worried!

A particular drum I have been banging for about 20 years or so !!!!!

So answering a question with a question, and given modern football being as it is, why even bother (considering most don’t any more and haven’t done for some time now) ?

UTB

Aye
Let’s keep him & also sign a(nother) journeyman (on extravagant contract) because a “rival” (sic) are ‘interested’
I thank my lucky stars that Wrexham didn’t show interest in Brewster

Maybe Selles just goes a different route.

Sees this as an opportunity to bring money and wages in and then replaces him with Knibbs, a forward, who apparently fits his style very well.

Maybe that is the plan. Otherwise the links to Knibbs make me wonder how he gets any minutes. It’s not as if Moore is going to be first pick but at least with him out of the way it opens up minutes for Knibbs.
