The collar and those bits on the sleeve complicate the design for me, less is more sometimes. The last home shirt to nail it for me was that effort by Avec. Ah if only we could get back with Umbro for next season.

Not just the player's shirts - Umbro branded; shorts, hoodies, t shirts, tracksuit tops...

However, that could have been me. I haven't done design work for SUFC for at least 10 years. But, I have sent the wrong SUFC logo out to a clothing company, once. This simple mistake created an out of control virus.

I also received artwork from other companies. You would look at it, and check it, and see if anything was wrong, you got a real kick if you'd spotted another designer's errors. If any company with any brains and which employed very skilled graphic designers, saw my incorrect logo, they would immediately phone up to check. Errea however...

In addition to the wonky badge in this pic, there seems to be an error with the collar front placement.

You can see the top of the white stripe poking out above the red on the collar. Like they've stitched the collar a little too low. Think it will be a case of buying in the store rather than online to pick a good one (again).

The sizes of the circled white stripes marked here don't match up.



The Errea logo is also not centred within the white stripe it inhabits.

Because obviously the Sheffield accent is not authentic unless it is voiced by Sean Bean personally, who has clearly copyrighted it.

Think people over romanticise umbro, they were incredible for us back in the 80/90s but right now they really are poor unfortunatly, they also outsource production to Castore too now. Its supermarket fodder
