Three lorry loads holding approximately 3,000 Zimmer frames have just pulled into the carpark at the Lane.
Guessing this means the safe standing section will be on the south stand. 😁

I don't want to get left behind, so I've just had it installed in my front room for the telly games. 'COME ON BLADES...!'

Does the capacity increase with safe standing? I assume the 'safe' part suggests it's managed via barriers and tiers, but surely you can fit more people in a given footprint when you remove the seats?

Safe standing for 3000 - 2999 in the BLLT and capacity for 1 fence off safe standing on the kop with his/her's own bog, bar and shop

When I had a season ticket for the back row of the kop, the back 3 or 4 rows used to stand anyway. I presume it's still the same. The only difference making it legal is likely to make is making it more comfortable, as you won't have the back of the seat digging into the back of your knees.

EDIT Also you won't be able to stand on your seat.

It's probably more than a dozen rows now.

According to charge its 1:1 in the UK..

‘In some jurisdictions (like the UK under current Premier League and EFL guidelines), clubs converting to safe standing must not increase capacity — it’s often a 1:1 ratio replacement of seats with standing spaces’

So I would guess roughly a third of the kop will be converted.
