That isn't what he said though. Is that your ambition for United - to be "just like all the other clubs"?
Personally, the height of my ambitions in life has never been to be an also ran.
That's why I've had a better than 'also ran' life, because I've dared to dream, hope and strive for the best.
I believe United can and should be capable of better than an 'also ran' existence as well, but sadly they seem destined to be let down by the many 'supporters' who've reared their ugly heads of late, demonstrating a lack of self-belief in, and aspiration for, United, by wanting them to be "just like all the other clubs".
Such a devout lack of ambition for United, is something I'm neither willing nor able to get on board with. I'll always want us to be the best we can be, not another also ran.
And it's like his championship record isn't brilliant tooIf you want us to sign an ex player you're a Wilderist apparently.
I’m not saying i wanted Brooks back although I do think he’s a decent player but i
Find strange we are not linked with anyone season after season slow off the mark with signings missing out on players who would make us stronger an better our recruitment department could do with a shake up and some new faces plus a rocket up their arse
Last season we didn't sign anyone till July. Wasn't it McCallum and Shackleton.I’m not saying i wanted Brooks back although I do think he’s a decent player but i

Loved watching him for us, a proper gets your arse off the seat player, although a long time ago now
Go o then. Another excuse to watch this again.Still remember him megging Hunt(I think) at Hillsborough in the Derby. Unplayable that day
Get over it ffsAnd it's like his championship record isn't brilliant too![]()
I am. But people are still allowed to mention it without it triggering you I am afraid.Get over it ffs
Very sad.I am. But people are still allowed to mention it without it triggering you I am afraid.
Anyone know if PSR or spending rules are an issue? Seems a lot of clubs have had to wait until 1st July to action some of the stuff they wanted.I do wonder if Souza going is what is slowing us down. Money in before money out?
Wonder where he is going instead?Deal to west brom.is off
Failed Medical perchance?Not happening.
Magic totally agree and it seems we have got our targets, in particular the Spurs centre back who on the face of it looks a perfect fit. Young, big, can play and has already done a full season in the Championship. I'd love to see us buy him not loan him.Why do we need to rush in the transfer market? It doesnt make sense to do so.
We have a squad that accumulated 90+ points, we don't need a huge overhaul.
The crux of our issue is that whilst we were always aware that failure to go up would lead to 1 or 2 sales, we don't know what those sales are yet and therefore can't react accordingly.
I know its as rare as rocking horse shit round here, but a bit of patience is all that is required.
He passed his medical yesterday with WBA. Rumours are that another team have come in at the last minute.Failed Medical perchance?
This would be an awful one to miss out on.
There was never a medical its a West Brom ‘itk’ spouting bollocks.Failed Medical perchance?
