The beer will be next

As with many Beer Geeks, some of the best beers I have ever tasted have been American.
One could only assume you are not talking about Bud Lite or Miller Lite here.

As American Beers go, Legal Remedy's Mocha Blonde Stout is one of the most breath-taking things I have witnessed. I'm down for us stocking that!

Jokes aside, some American beer is genuinely fantastic.
All their Lagers are rubbish.

I was in US last October for two weeks and had to resort to drinking very poorly poured Guinness because i couldn't handle the lagers anymore.

This is a Coors Light (the food was bang on mind you)

Shoreham Car Pool Blades.

Names such Randy Smurthwaite, Chuck Truman, Vinnie Firth. Etc

The number of ‘craft’ breweries (sorry I hate that phrase) around here means that you need to be a bit of a clown to have to resort to the Bud, Coors, Miller shite. Plenty of decent lagers, bock’s and kolsch’s brewed around the US from what I gather. Everywhere sells IPA and wheat beer as well.

Say goodbye to beloved and world renowned British staples such as Carling, John Smiths, Greene King IPA, Doombar etc.

It’s going to be exclusively ‘murican pisswatter from now on.

Say hello to Bud Light, Coors Light and Miller Lite, and Trump’s tariffs mean they’ll be twice the price.

The four you are in fear of losing are absolute piss water

Not really fussed what beer is served at the ground as 1) you can't take it to your seat anyway and 2) there are so many good pubs around Sheffield for decent beer.

I do think there is a place for all beer though.

My two most recent experiences of having a pint in Sheffield were:

Bristol City home leg (£6.10 for a non alcoholic beer) I was driving!

2 pints of John Smiths and a pack of nuts for a fiver.

both were enjoyed in their own way. I seem to only drink on my own because I am a sad Bar Steward.

I genuinely like Miller Genuine Draft.

Sue me (that is the American way after all.)

Coors and Miller are decent beers.

I did try and think of the four worst pints going that fit the English bill.

There are worse pints out there- the American Budweiser and Fosters immediately spring to mind, but I can’t think of a single redeeming thing about Doom Bar- even in a satirical sense.

Can we have some more photos of the barmaid in the short skirt please?

You suceeded, Bud light , Coors light id add to the list

Undoubtedly some tremendous beers brewed in the States. Especially if you like strong dark stuff.

Saugatuck has always been a favourite of mine which hilariously turned up in B&M in Sheff last year 😁 although at that price we dipped our bread.

My likes in beer will get me labelled a hipster twat but whilst I think some of the standard UK choices are insipid shit, I can't be doing with these CAMRA cunts moaning about lager drinkers.

Fat Cat used to be full of them as they sipped their two halves of ticks per week whilst plenty of decent fellas who drank 4 pints of Lindeboom 3 or 4 times a week actually contributed to the running of the pub.

Get Sinclair to encorporate this 80’s banger into the countdown to kickoff playlist.

Isn't Madri just Carling rebranded?
Pretty much yeah. Brewed in Burton.

First time I saw it was in Native on Gilbraltar Street. We were sat in the back of the Bar Stewards and Native's manager came and sat with us.

Bigged up this new Spanish lager. About a fortnight later someone educated me 😄
