I have been viewing your forum since Clough was sacked from Derby, also checking your results.
You probably don't give a toss regarding a derby lads views.......most of the Derby lads I know are pleased for NC and united, and are also checking the results.
NC learnt a lot at Derby and performed a great job on a shoestring although Mclaren has moved us up a notch NC did all the groundwork. He built from the bottom up and made great lower league signings.

He will gel your club together and create a team sprit second to none, training is old school with the emphasis on playing football with the full squad as oppose to just the first 11.

Great manager just hope he messes up when you lot play Derby again.

Hope you lot go up (sticking a tenner on it) oh and thanks for hammering the red dogs.

He also has a far better haircut than McLaren

Never understood that Brillo pad effect on the front of the bonce. Perhaps it's cos he is as dull as dishwater?

He can have a five foot Afro and be a mass murderer for me as long as he gets the Rams up.
Mclaren is a great coach every player that's worked with him states that.

A Forest mate tells me he's most grieved that McClaren screwed up there and learned all his lessons for Derby's benefit.

Seems like every club is hammering the florists on a weekly basis since we smashed them into the ground , and as for that tramp of a manager , with his one set of clobber . Yuck .

NC dont mind getting wet in the rain either.........just cant imagine our nige with a brolly ! can you imagine what morgs would think:rolleyes:

BD is an arse a short one at that. The season he got Derby up he allegedly spent the whole close season renegotiating contracts for him and the back room staff, then publicly had a dig at the chairman to force his hand, resulting in his sacking and an alleged cost of about 2mil in compo.
Didn't want Derby's relegation on his cv? Also we had no where near the quality we needed to stay up as he pretty much only resigned himself and the back room staff throughout the summer months.

This is true, he's no chance of growing a five foot Afro before the end of the season. I guess I'll settle for promotion and a mass murderer ;)
He killed the Ingerland football squad during that non-qualification escapade. Will that do?

Still think he has a better chance of the 'fro ;)

I'll take that as the murder.
Seriously who could do anything with them muppets, that said agreed he failed and he wasn't the right man at the right time for England.

I've always rated him from his coaching days at Derby and manure, he has come across as a fool in the media though.

Time will tell

Hi mate, has old Steve still retained his Dutch accent? I'd love to hear that at a Ram's training session

I tell you what?
Shall we just go Dutch on this one?

I remember McLaren and his brolly. I remember at the time thinking what a ponce.
Don't think i've ever seen a manager with a brolly before or since. Just bizarre.

Must be the thought of wearing that old ones used school shorts .

'kinell mate! The wee bugger's never washed 'em, no wonder no one'll touch 'em with a barge poll.

There are few thoughts more guaranteed to make you shudder than the thought of BD rumbling around in the kiddie's clothes section at Lidl for socks, x-small bollock holders, and a blazer. The tight jock won't buy trousers as he guesses no one will notice. He's right!

I ain't even going to try and defend the Dutch accent, or the brolly. I mean how can you?

I'll judge him on results, he has a shithot back room team as well and tactically has changed results for us.

I'll not knock NC great manager and man, lived down the road from me in duffield saw him a few times in the local morrisons down to earth man. That said I can't remember him making an offensive substitution throughout his time at Derby a little too defensive at times. Liked to have seen what he would of done with a bigger player budget.

It's happening now albeit at a lower level. We have a bit of cash to spend (comfortably more than 90% in this league), and Clough's loans and purchases so far have been faultless, as well as investing in ridding us of some deadweights like Marlon King.

Next season will be the acid test though.

Yep, kept an eye on the players he's brought in. All good signings as you will know Brayford is different gravy premiership class In my view.

Ben's a decent player good feet decent at set pieces and will score a few screamers over the season.

Best of luck with it mate

Derby fans I know main complaint of Nigel was that he was a tad negative...especially away.
However that's just what needed when he came in and he seems to be developing an effective counter-attack style with the players here.

That's where the management milarky gets hard, at our level players mainly are interested in playing football for a decent club but the higher you go they become more interested in how much they can screw out of a club.

Look our way brother as our camel racer , is supposed to be minted , so can't wait to see his million pound signings close season Brayford would be good , also sorry to say think it'll be between , our Arry and the rugby fookers for the last promotion place , sorry bud . Hope I'm wrong for your sake
Nice run from east midland airport into Derby , did it last year .

When we fans judge managers we listen very carefully to what they say in interviews to the media and, more importantly, to us fans.

Whenever I listen to McLaren I think he is talking to the media, after all he was media trained when he got the England job!!??!!

Whenever I listen to NC I think he is talking to the fans and the players. That'll do for me, NC every time!

BTW old Neil was always a media man, even with us. We fans knew the reality.

Fester have it sown up for me, I did fancy Derby for 2nd as Burnley tend to draw a few, they have Blackburn away on Sunday local derby not easy for them. I think old Arry has his work cut out at QPR and I don't fancy meeting Wigan in the play offs they're on fire.

The truth mate, another season in the Championship wouldn't be a disaster for Derby, I'm kind of turned off by the. Prem all a load of overpriced nonsense where real fans come last and sky tv/BT call the shots .... Whereas the Championship is more competitive on a level playing field some big teams and great away days that don't cost you 50 notes to get in to.

There's been a few on here who've agreed with your view of the prem, mentioning that the championship is a better place to see decent football without all the prem bullshit. Trouble is, it's where directors and some fans want their club to be. For those who are relegated from the prem they certainly arrive with a shed load of money so you already have an elite in the championship.

Thing is 76ram, he has made us one of the most attacking teams we've seen playing for us for years, we can be defending corners and we can be having a shot on target within seconds, we are awesome on the break.
ok thats in league 1, but with Flynn, Murphy, and Scougall, and Coady, we are hard to contain when attacking, so at this point in time we as fans love him.

NC does not get wet in the rain. it is purely an illusion. If you look closely when the cameras are on him when it's raining there is a slight pixelation or distortion that cannot be picked up with the naked eye that shows there is an invisible forcefield around him. It's all to hide Gods true identity!
