I hope not! But they fit the profile he likes. Managed them before, they know the club and the division, 'culture carriers'.
Do you think we'll sign neither of these players?
I'm really averse to making predictions, but I'm sure we won't sign either of these at all, let alone as a first signing.

Be ok I guess we have nothing better available for around the same price ,hope cw doesn't go sniffing around the lower leagues .
If we are to be promoted ,following the last derisory season we need to look higher
Let's see how much the new owners will commit,
Need at least 4 quality players

Kyle Walker, Harry Maguire and Callum Doyle should sort out our defence.
Then we could do with one or two fast, strong, ball carrying wingers/no 10s.
And a younger, fitter Kieffer style cf who can play on his own and/or in a front two
That’ll do for starters…🥳😂

Very much doubt we will bring McBurnie back. He’s hardly smashed it over there and apart from maybe three or four teams the standard is below prem, he’s had a chance to make an impact and just hasn’t.

Ben Davies at Spurs is out of contract this summer and could bring some vital experience to the team. He's 32 and has been a bit part player these last two seasons so he won't command the same wages as he used to.

Absolute rubbish
Correct.

Amazes me that people can't see how the defence operates.

Take Monday night for example, Anel's man is Twine who regularly drops into the space between midfield and forwards and actually drops deeper than that quite often. Now, do you want your centre half running with Twine 30 yards towards the half way line leaving a massive gap in behind OR do you let the full back tuck in and ask Brooks to do the same for Hamza? We also know that Bristol City aren't going to cause us much damage out wide so we take the lower risk option of potentially giving up a little bit of ball in wide areas and make sure we plug the gaps in the middle as a first priority. Hamza tucking in also means that Souza/Peck aren't forced back 20 yards to pick up Twine either. It's hardly a difficult footballing concept but I guess some just see it in black and white.

Just 5 bookings in 57 PL appearances.
2 of them were in the same game, but still, it's a booking every 11 games

You do the maths. That’s pretty much a yellow card every other game.

Do you know I think souza and hamer wouldn't want to go unless they get stupid offers .
I'd be more worried about ollie and sydie
My first 3 would be Hamza, souttar and a ambitious push for Tommy Doyle
Just no more last payday senior citizens or loans to help premier clubs with ffp
Sunderland have gone down the youth route and really hope after we beat them in the final ( did I just go all positive blade 😱) they storm the championship next season
Due to injury Arblaster going nowhere this next season
Peck they will be circling for already
Hamer Everton 100% if we don’t go up
Souza would love him to stay but…,
Cooper expect Leeds to come for if they don’t get the Liverpool lad

Then waste the money on
An unfit Soutter
and Doyle and anyone else whose played for us before

But does he speak English?

Might be optimistic but I think Peck might stay because I can't see him wanting to sit on a bench after this season. To be honest I suppose that also applies with us dependng on Blasters return and Souza staying?

Hamer I can see going even if we do go up...

Cooper should be on a half decent contract and we would be mad to sell. Even if we don't go up, we should be able to get one more season with him!

Moving to a solid PL side is different, going to Leeds could well be one season up then back down. hardly career progress!

I'd let Souza & Anel go if a good offer came in to help recruitment, Cooper is the last player I'd want to let go, a good goalkeeper comes around very rarely, as we should know

Would be on lower wages than Walker and Maguire as well, it's a criticism that gets aimed at Spurs that their wage bill is quite a bit lower than the other big 6 teams.

Tommy Doyle not needed move on

Peck would be better staying with us. He's still quite erratic and inconsistent and I'd worry if he's started in the Premier League as you have to be consistent and calm at that level, but he's got time on his side to develop for that level.
