As always, if you watch the SUFC ones on the club website, you'll need to log in. I'll upload Blackburn's presser vid and SUFC YouTube clips as and when the clubs post them, but if you find something before me, please add it to the thread.

Wilder is live on Thursday at 0900
, I'm told. Link below will work once announced by the club 👇

I will do some notes once I've seen it.

Seems its now not at the above time. I’m stopping asking 😂 it’s been wrong twice now in the last 3

🤣 To be fair to the person that tells me, they only tell me what they know. They work at the club and should know, given their role, and usually get it right, but I can’t be arsed sticking a post on a forum if it’s gonna be wrong 😭

I assume it’ll be tomorrow at 9, like it usually is. Will update the thread and link when the club announce it

Least you can do tbh - I’m waiting here for your report and all you can do is make assumptions

Don’t he know it’s forum golf event, no one will be around to listen.

If only there was someone with time on their hands to summarise what he saiys. Having said that just watch Stoke presser and it will be almost identical

Some notes from Wilder's presser:

Very short one today. No Danny Hall or James Shield, just representation from BBCRS

Injuries & Absences:
  • "The only one that will miss out tomorrow is BBD, who has a virus. He won't miss any of the playoff games"
  • Tom Davies "will get minutes tomorrow afternoon"

Looking back on the Stoke City game:
  • "I thought we were really good, but the supporters were better than the performance"
  • "They gave us an incredible amount of energy. The players talked about that"
  • "There's never a none contest from our point of view. Some big challenges went in but we never pulled out of any of them"

Looking ahead to Blackburn Rovers:
  • "Over 31/32,000 tickets sold. We want to finish on a high"
  • "The challenge is to get vital minutes into players, rest some players, but get a positive result on Saturday lunchtime"
  • "Only them and Millwall haven't stuttered in this period"
  • "We're confident that if we produce one of our better performances, we can win it"
  • "We're full tilt"
  • "There's 30,000 supporters to reward"

The playoffs:
  • During training this week, "I couldn't have wished the lads to be in a better place to be honest. The energy, the intensity, the excitement."
  • The gap in points between us and the playoff teams "gives us confidence, and we are confident we can go and play any team and get a result, but getting Saturday boxed off is the most important to us"

General:
  • He talked about the difference in the character of the team from last season to this, and he believes the fans can see the difference, getting it back "to how I want it to look"
  • "This team was put together a week before the start of the season, so the build [has been ongoing and perhaps not always recognised]"
  • "I can't be beating our players up about their efforts"
  • On Gus' season, following his awards "You need your [difference makers] and produce those big moments. You need them all over the pitch. Gus has produced those for us. That's why he has got these awards. The position suits him and suits us. I know that has been talked about [him playing out of position, but this is the position he prefers]"
  • No talk about the Bash game on Sunday

Interviewers: Andy Giddings and a junior, "Lewis"

Hamer may according to Wilder prefer playing wide left but when he goes on walkabout we have no one up top to receive the ball and interplay with burrows which leaves no one to exploit all the room in front of him.
Basically I can not see how it works other than play Hamer in the 10 role

  • "I thought we were really good, but the supporters were better than the performance"
  • "They gave us an incredible amount of energy. The players talked about that"
He’s gone OTT with praising the fans since the Oxford shitshow. Maybe that’s his “media guy”. Maybe he ought to have listened to him first time round.
