Typical southern ignorance. You pooped no party. We were not bothered who we played and nearly all of us are very happy when the Pigs/wendy (that is sheffield wednesday to you) lose. Get out of your southern shell and get some education and respect for the teams you play but most of all, clubs fans and do not beleive media hype.

What's he said then?

Well, that's something for him to use instead of the Wendy tweet this time around. Good work Boo.

He thinks that we wanted the pigs to win.

Didn't you see the hundreds of posts on here? Or the interviews with the players after the forest game? Or Clough? Or even forest complaining that the draw for the quarters was made during the forest game thus giving the added incentive of a potential derby?

You can't deny that it's added some interest and excitement over the last 8 days...

But the sense of relief that Charlton are through is a huge weight off our minds

I really didn't want to play the scum, I think we could have beat them but I would rather play them next year or the year after when clough has his team in place. We are getting better but we do still carry a few passengers in our team.

He goes by the name of "Cool Clint" apparently....
Wow, I suppose he'll be complaining there are not enough black people in forum management:eek:

Fair play to Chris Powell, he seems to have managed to alienate both sides of the city in one go.

On Porktalk (I wouldn't normally venture on there, but last night I couldn't resist) there's a thread blaming him for all the time wasting and in particular, feigning injury. One outraged oinker asked Chris Powell how he'd feel if one of his players, having pretended to be injured several times, was then really seriously injured and the referee ignored him, in the footballing equivalent of the boy who cried wolf, how would he feel then eh? Nothing like a desperate flailing around reaction to a defeat.

Personally, I think we should be grateful to Powell and Charlton, we're spared the potential disappointment of being the route for the grunters getting to Wembley and the next round is a no lose game for me.

And now some real news for mr powell..

We will treat them with the respect deserving of a team above us in the leagues, and one which is well run and on the whole quite liked by most blades, not surprising since they took the whole heart attack factor out of the next game...lol

Tbh, I don't fancy our chances against them, but I didn't at villa, fulham or forest, and who did?

The turnaround of fortunes this cup run has ushered in made it all worth while allready, and if notning else we benefit from increased income for next season ffp regs, we generated more this season etc.

Welcome to bramall lane once more charlton athletic, have a good day out in sheff, and a good game, but not too good eh'
