So Wilder has been given another lifeline, with Swansea knocking the final piece of hope, belief and confidence out of Plymouth regarding them staying up. What should have been a tricky fixture, has suddenly become a whole lot easier, not to mention cooper will want to put on a spectacular show going back home.

Wonder If Rohl can improve on his home record Saturday? Second worst in league for the German legend.

QPR just won their first game in 8 against Oxford away. Go figure. They can put 3 past Oxford. Swansea put 3 last Plymouth at home. Let's see how if we can put one past Plymouth.

What will be the excuses if we don't? "Relegation teams are always hard to beat at this stage of the season."

Swansea 70% possession
18 shots on goal
8 shots on target
3 goals

Yep, notoriously difficult to beat.

Hopefully we will win, but I'll laugh my arse off if we don't.

Not sure why we have a 'lifeline". If Plymouth win on Sat they're potentially 2 points away from safety.

Derby are away at Portsmouth and Stoke away at Cardiff which won't be easy games.
All true, but the gist of the thread is we will get nothing down at Plymouth if we go into the game as we did at Oxford. Seemingly intent on not putting pressure on a struggling team which should expect us to go and play decent attacking football. The onus has been on us to press home our advantage of having some quality Championship players. It just seems we are given instructions to be cautious, which has led to going 1-0 down in the last 2 matches and having no clue how to get back into the game.

Plymouth 1 Blades 0

I watched some of the game and Plymouth looked a class below Swansea. Could have been a much bigger margin of victory. It felt like a Championship team playing a League 1 team. Swansea were just a lot better around both boxes. It should be an easy victory.

I think we'll beat Plymouth on Saturday but drop points to one of Cardiff (H) or Stoke (A), likely the latter, as they'll be right in the relegation fight.

It probably won't matter anyway, as it's so unlikely that we win at Turf Moor.

The last few days has probably killed us in terms of automatics.

You are probably correct Captain, but the thought of playing the likes of Bristol City and Sunderland over 2 legs fills me with trepidation

Forget the playoffs, his style of play is negative to the point that you need one goal to beat us, and you've needed one goal all season, nobody is scared of the most talented squad in the league due to how he tells them to play..

12 - 15 of our players would get in most teams in this division, 4 of them would start for either Leeds or Burnley..

And we can't score a single goal against Oxford or Millwall...

it's not the players...

I hope Cooper takes his deck chair and sits in it all afternoon.

I'd fancy us to make the final in the play-offs because I think we'd pull out a performance at Bramall Lane (see Leeds, Middlesbrough, Coventry games).

I'd worry about our lads on the big Wembley pitch under the sunshine. Our fitness levels are poor.

Bold statement or daft statement?

Got a feeling wilder will start cannon and Brewster in this one to prove a point and we will lose 1 0
That’s the spirit. Nothing like supporting your team, and you do nothing to suggest you support the team. Constant negativity and dislike of individual players.
Yep we heard you first time. Thanks for repeating.

That's a good point you make, in all the finals at Wembley it's been boiling hot.

Maybe if we get there and it pisses it down all day our outcome may differ.

Please dispose of rejected arse environmentally.

Check the league table and it shows we can’t play Sunderland over 2 legs.

If we’re in the play-offs, looks like it’s going to be either Coventry, Bristol City or Middlesbrough.

Fulham lost to Wolves and Palace by three goals, what is Liverpool's excuse for not beating them?

Portsmouth got smashed 6-1 by Stoke, 4-0 by Derby, 5-1 by West Brom and 3-0 by both Bristol City and Blackburn, what's Leeds' excuse for getting beat by them?

Etc.

Football analysis for children.

Sometimes I think Wilder is too invested into what the fans think…Fuck em! That what I say.

His constant comments in interviews along the lines of "I know what the narrative is" suggest he's overly concerned with others views.

It's almost like he's always looking for any criticism he can find and then takes it personally.

His job is to prepare the team and get them playing and not to give a sh1t about what anyone is saying but it's difficult to shake the feeling that he's got a massive chip on his shoulder and that it's affecting his decision making

You’re not getting in the play offs so fear not.

There seems to be a lot of people about telling us why we will fail and who should be to blame. Enjoy the ride
