Game changing investment?

Looks like it's game changing to me. When we drop into League Two the game will definitely have changed.

it's fucking unbelievable this, I always thought 1980 was a historical aberration, WTF is going on. Perhaps it's a dream ! (bangs head), no ...stuck with it

I fear their twitter accounts will take a turn for the worse if we lose next week.

I don't see why fans always pluck out 'game changing investment' in a sarcastic tone. The expectation was set at the start; debt removed, funds for shrewd investment & protect our better (albeit can't name one) players from being sold for pennies. The rot in our club has been set since around this time last year, The Weir era made it worse & now the new regime I feel was too little/too late to change anything. I believe we'll get relegated, but I don't think the new Board or Manager are to blame.

Horseshit. If they wanted to buy us out of this they would. They don't care

Remember how we announced the investment after the closure of the summer transfer window, to avoid being ripped off? Seriously, with all you know and looking back, do you believe they've "invested" in United?

The debt was actually cleared/moved by KM (for all his sins), and had nothing to do with this lot.

Buy us out of it? Should we be spending millions of £££ to perform at a level similar to Port Vale, Coventry or Oldham? No. The problem lyes in the poor squad we've crafted and the poor attitude of the players. Those problems don't get fixed overnight by chucking money around recklessly.

It's bullshit like the Jacob Esan 500m was happen a day after summer transfer window just like Esan one was. So it comes to the jtw and we get rid as many as we bring in. It's time for the club to be honest and tell us we haven't a penny to spend

Decent investment would have kept us up but yet again there was none forthcoming. The "Prince" has done fck all. Perhaps the rumour about him being a bin man from Batemoor is true......

If we go down they'll sack Clough we always do another nice pay off for a united manager

Too many people opened their mouths too quickly again with talk of "game changing" investment and "think Liverpool" when the media circus was in full swing. The best thing the club could have done was play it down.

When I "think Liverpool" I remember them trying to sign an international player for eight figures on deadline day. What we have done doesn't conjure up the same image.

I would have been happy regardless had we not just shown how desperately bobbins we are immediately after the window has shut.
