LUKAS JUTKIEWICZ from Middlesboro was rumoured a couple of weeks ago however he has joined rival Championship side Bolton Wanderers on loan for the rest of the season therefore that is out of the window, as a result of his arrival Freedman has confirmed that he will probably allow CRAIG DAVIES to leave on loan and the immediate interest comes from our rivals Preston who are very close according to press sources.

LEON CLARKE was never in the frame to join United according to Bramall lane officials and this was confirmed today when he joined ours and Coventry's league one rivals Wolves.

JON STEAD is still available for a move and today turned down a loan move to our league one rivals Coventry City who must have seen him as a quick replacement for clarke.
