Has been discussed before that we need a song for our stupendous custodian.

Think may have been a variation of this suggested before, but I humbly submit this for acclaim/ ridicule/ indifference.

To tune of Super Trooper, obvs.

Super Cooper, Blades have got a keeper
Came up from Devon
Cost two million
Soon be England's number one.

To the tune of
Stupid Cupid -

Super Cooper is our number one
he's the best we've had since Henderson.
But when the big boys come a sniffing round
And we need money for the training ground
I Pray,
they don't say,
I'm sorry but we couldn't stand in his way.....

His calmness reminds me of Tracey back in 1990. I loved the ovation from the Plymouth fans to him yesterday. He does the basics brilliantly plus the odd amazing save as he provided yesterday.

Something by Shakin Stevens maybe?
Ain’t gonna need Grbic no longer
Ain’t gonna need Grbic no more

They always got a winner
He let everybody score

We’ve put Cooper in the goal instead
And now everything gets saved

Ain’t gonna need Grbic no longer
No more fucking up my weekend days

😉

Looks completely unbothered by everything - makes a wordly save and barely even raises an eyebrow. The lad will be playing in the prem next year whether its with us or not

Here's mine for ridiculing, to the same tune

Super Cooper, the Blades have got a keeper
Smiling having fun
He's our number one
Super super cooperman.

Thank you very much for Michael Cooper
Thank you very much thank you very very very much

Thaaaaanks for our gracious team …

Can someone check if Cooper has a pulse? Watching the highlights back from yesterday and it's so noticeable how calm he is and it doesn't change.

Makes a save - stand up, walk casually, adjust gloves, reset.

Claims a relatively tricky cross and makes it look like nothing - stops, looks around, carries on.

Concedes from a pen - same as the first point.

We've seen the same when he saves a pen too. Just unflappable. So reassuring. Proper keeper.

He's a class act. Better than Henderson for me

Impossible to tell. Hendo did well in the PL!
Makes no difference what division you are in when comparing Keepers. A shot is a shot, a head a header. Most professional keepers can make the odd brilliant save etc, but the difference is, can you do it when you've had nothing to do for 85 mins then have to pull off a worldie. Coops has shown he is a very rounded in every aspect of goalkeeping. A top top Keeper, who also seems to be a top guy too.
