Tues Feb 5th 2014 - 8:00pm

Tickets : £15.00 Adult, £10.00 OAP/U21, £5.00 Children

Both the ITV and BT Sport are entitled to televise a replay and there is only two replays remaining in us and our potential 5th round opponents so at a guess I would say that this one will probably be on TV, which station we are on is another story.

Best trains I've found would mean driving and leaving the car at Donny and going on the East Coast Mainline (remember extra time + pens if you're getting the train).

11:17 to Kings X arrives 13:00
23:30 to Donny arrives 01:25

£28 return.

As I don't have BT Sport, I'm hoping ITV get this one.

Ultimate kick in the teeth if neither BT or ITV exercise their contractual entitlement...

I'm a little disappointed that the club haven't done anything out of the ordinary regarding coach travel. The trains i've seen would leave it a little bit tight if it was extra time and penalties. I'm not expecting free transport but i think £29 is a little steep, I don't see why they couldn't set a break even price on the coach travel given that it's the fa cup.

I think the short notice will have something to do with the cost.

The latest train you can get back from London which will get you to Sheffield without a 4 hour stop-over is the 22:25 from St Pancras.

Not leaving any time for extra time and pens considering it's at least a half hour journey from the ground to the railway station and it's an 8pm kick off.

Linz, being born in Fulham I can confidently say that getting to St Pancras will take between 50 minutes to well over an hour depending on when the game ends, what the traffic is like, whether you decide to take the tube or get a taxi (if you can find one, 4 to a cab and at least £25-40 depending on route and heavy traffic). The nearest underground stations are Putney Bridge, Barons Court, or Fulham Broadway. Barons Court is the most direct as you can get on the Piccadilly line which takes you to King's Cross. Best to get hold of an A-Z, see what's realistic to do, and then cross your fingers. As the KO is 8pm, it won't be do-able. Is there a train that leaves early in the morning, or is the first one after midnight at about 6 the following morning?

It's about time the club offered helicopter travel. Does the prince have a pilots license?

Was reading last night about Reg Brearley's 'Executive Blades' club. Apparently they flew to Southend away in 1984. Can we set that club up again in a week?

We're driving anyway (probably parking at Cockfosters) but was sharing info for anyone looking for alternatives.

There are later trains back to Doncaster, but no continuing trains from Donny to Sheffield.

I used to work at Heathrow and if I end up driving I will be taking the M1 to Junction 15, A43 to M40 and park up around Windsor. Takes 30 minutes to Fulham and 2 hours if a passeneger in my car from there.

How about a train Retford as an alternative to Doncaster, the "official" Doncaster car park is expensive as I found out when I used it when travelling to Edinburgh last year. I've parked for free close to Retford station AND still had 4 wheels on my return.

Cockfosters is at the end of the Piccadilly line, but as the tube does operate late-ish you should be ok if you get a tube as soon as possible. London Underground do operate an info service so maybe check with them.

Yeah... we checked. Don't think we'll be setting off from Fulham as late as 23:30 though :)

Tuesday 4th February, departs 1.00pm prompt

Sheffield United are offering FREE official coach travel to fans making the trip to Fulham for the FA Cup fourth Round replay on Tuesday 4th February.

Fans are advised to book early to enable the Club to make arrangements.

Any supporters who have already booked travel tickets this morning can claim a full refund before the 4th February.

Just a warning though for people not used to travelling by coach.. it might be worth booking the Wednesday off.

Was it the Fulham game in the Premiership where one of the coaches had broken down by Tibshelf?

I know it was definitely Spurs where the coach got home late as it got grounded on a speedbump and they had to find another coach from somewhere.

And coming home from Colchester once, it took us nearly 7 hours.

There's a reason we're driving!

Worth remembering as well there are tube strikes scheduled for the 4th and 5th Feb. I only live a few miles from craven cottage but it's gonna be a right pain to get there.

Always travel to London from Retford top journey, usually only one or two stops no problem parking and as you say car intact on return !!
