Souza Choudhury MF

Obviously Choudrys role is solely to protect the back line, especially against lump it in teams like Luton.Not a pretty watch but a 1-0 win and going top of the pile should we just accept it and be happy Big push now and the title is ours.

I don't particularly like the bloke, after how it ended in his first spell you will never ever hear me singing "he's one of our own" cos he isn't, absolutely far from it. However you'll also not see me questioning his ability as a manager, cos in what world have I or have you or any other clueless supporter got a better idea than a man in charge of a team who has 72 points after 33 games. Bearing in mind some of us were expecting to be in Lutons position too. So no, there's no clapping like a seal from me, just appreciate a man doing his job pretty fucking well, that's all.

Do you really believe that? Peck who is young and wants to play every and just had a little break, plays 1 game and is then ‘fatigued’ 3 days later. It is just a cover story to justify picking a terrible midfield

Wilder never used to bullshit the fans, he's always been very open with his assessments.

I struggle to believe he really thought those two worked well together.

Choudhury was his No.1 target for a long time, you have to assume Plan A was always to pick Souza & Choudhury together.
Perhaps he's struggling to accept it hasn't worked?

There's 13 games to go, there's plenty of opportunity to give Choudhury game-time... but it should only come to give Souza a break.
The double-pivot needs someone that can advance the ball (T Davies / Peck).

Would be an incredible brave lie. Seen as though Peck would have seen the interview himself.

Players will take knocks all the time. This is part and parcel of football. Now we have a squad and it was utilised perfectly.

This isn't 1985. The game is that much more physically demanding than it used to be. Why people continue to deny this fact is beyond me, particularly in the context of someone who is going to be naive in terms of how much he thinks he will be able to play, who is still adapting to the demands of senior football, and who most the board thought was completely exhausted about three weeks ago before we brought additional bodies in to allow him a rest.
 
I don't get the bad press for this lad from fans, he's a spoiler he's not been brought in as a playmaker completely agree he shouldn't be playing with vini ( he's a back up) and should be used to give vini a rest either as full replacement or to bring on at 70/80 minutes

Who’s denying it? So many are so obsessed that players need breaks every time. It’s not 1985, they also train in a far more measured and controlled manner to manage their game time.

And yet injuries are a common factor in the modern game and seen to be getting more common. The club will have all sorts of information we aren't privy to and I think they have earned some degree of trust!

Appreciate your position. I’m giving him credit for taking what he was dealt at the start of the season when he hadn’t a clue what he was going to be left with and getting us where we are. I’m not giving him credit when he’s an experienced football manager and doesn’t realise when he hasn’t got a midfield and the effect of that. There’s also many on here that have played to a good standard and managed and sometimes just sometimes he fucks up IMHO.
