The smaller the club the saltier the comments….Clubs who could justifiably take the piss, tend not to.

I wasn't at the game, but I can guarantee our fans did not "look shell-shocked."

Yesterday was just another Groundhog Day.

Terrible, disjointed performance.
Opposition miss some golden chances, we take one of ours and see it out.

If I'm shell-shocked about anything, it's that we somehow keep managing to win despite all of the above.
The Middlesbrough performance, sadly, was the anomaly.

I'd love to say it isn't a fluke because of how many times we've done it, but we've been reliant on the opposition missing big chances so it's not as if we're in control of everything.

The one bit that is impressive is how we shut up shop once we get in front.
We rarely let sides back into it and give up very few chances late on.

The one major positive to come out of yesterday is to see we can move to a back 3.

Thing is with Luton their players have over achieved for so long and this season was the first time they had expectation on them to finish high. Not a massive over haul in the summer and most of their players have peaked sadly for them, didn’t expect them to be bottom mind.

Thanks Roy. It was a gritty, messy, hard won and at times uncomfortable affair to watch as we ground out a result we were all happy with, but thats enough about Valentines Day evening round our house.
It wasn't as good as Wednesday night, but it was Luton and let's be honest, they were always going to be make things ugly.Fuck em, another three points so who's complaining.
Good tune again too.

Just have to pull you up on one thing as its been a bit of a narrative among the posters who like to push these views but they did not have a few golden chances

Seen quite a few say we should have been three down at half time this is simy not true, adebayo out jumped Robinson and missed a free header that was it

Not a pop at you but you do like to correlate these misconceptions and run with them as fact

I thought the one their lad put over the bar in the six yards box was begging to be put in also..

You’ve been found out Luton your style of play is definitely League 2 and by the end of the season you will be on your way with League One a certainty. I believe Plymouth is their next game lose that and they will be well adrift at the bottom where they belong

Thanks Roy

Adebayo missed a volley from couple yards out, they missed the header, they hit the crossbar and also Aasgard had half an open goal to aim at in first few mins but hit it straight at Cooper

Cheers roy, i understand how they feel , dominated us first half and then sucker punched, when your on a downer things dont go well, but fck em we won get over it

Always tended to find them a set of wankers as supporters go .. the odd sensible comment in there amongst them . As regards

‘’ They always seem to burgle a result despite us generally having the beater of the game.”

Maybe you didn’t come to Bramall Lane earlier in the season when we lost 2-0 and could easily have been 6 or 7-0 .

We are top because we are good at winning football matches. It seems the majority of Championship fans, including a healthy number of our own, don’t seem to understand that. There are no points for performance (that’s Strictly), no points for loud fans or good attendances, someone does a sum at the end and the team with the most goals gets the three points, and the other gets a big fat duck egg.

Still think it’s hilarious that fans of a team of big junkyard dogs complain about harsh treatment from the ref!

Fair play to them shutting down the offside nay-sayers though.

*Yes, it's old-skool. I can't get on with all this AI nonsense.

Fair play to the lino, great call

Or when they beat us 3-2 without having a shot on target

The reality is that despite a poor first half from us they looked extremely vulnerable at the back. In the second half we were dominant.

We had five excellent chances to score a goal, and a few other really dangerous moments. We took one of the chances.

Thank you Roygbiv 😊, another dose of salty 🧂 comments. Keep up the great work cheers 🍻 👏 ✌️ 👍🏻 😀

Thank you Roygbiv

Sliding doors for Luton. About the same time last season, we beat them and their form nosedived.

Until then, they were having a real go and unlike us and Burnley had a chance.

Without that dip in form and results there would have been a realistic chance of them relegating forest.

As it stands, they are moving to 25k new ground for league one football (or worse potentially).

I don’t particularly like the place or the fans, but events highlight the fine margins in English football.

With the wrong manager and poor signings, we could have been in a similar situation this season.

Before I look at the comments… how are they TOP…. They’re shit, YES.. we don’t understand either…
Because we beat shit teams, beat average teams and beat good teams. We win ugly and we win pretty. We win with high possession, we win with low possession.

But some believe the way to win is by sticking scarves on seats 😂😂😂

They’ve gone off faster than warm milk.

I guess they were a relatively limited side when they got promoted, and now with their team spirit punctured by a relegation, they just didn’t refresh the squad sufficiently.

But hindsight is a wonderful thing. That battering ram of a frontline looked enough to keep them miles from danger. 🤷‍♂️
