Beat Leeds

I have the feeling the 2nd half today was a trial run of playing 5-3-2 in preparation for Leeds. Hopefully not.

He's 100% going 5-3-2 in that one. Might not be the worse thing.

He'll play the best he's got, like he did against Middlesbrough. It's obvious what his strategy is, use the squad against the shit teams to allow us to use the best we have against the better teams. It means we can look disjointed, but we have the quality to win games even when we don't control them.

The lane needs to be rocking!!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Siddarn, shurrup, can't see, siddarn, shurrup,
Plus a good atmosphere will make SYP and the Health & Safety twats close down another 2000 seats

I just hope he doesn't think QPR are shit when we play them!

Let's not get ahead of ourselves 12 wins required !!! Is the wind blowing delusion powder from up the road , I'll believe it when that green "P" is at the side of us on the league table
Exactly, no-one is promoted in February.

Let’s not get carried away.

Play each game on its merits.

We’re up when we can’t be caught be anyone.

Plenty of games are tricky in the Championship but we’ve had a good week despite playing pretty poorly in two out of three matches.

If Leeds lose on Monday and to us and then Burnley and Sunderland drop points next weekend giving us 4 and 6+ and 6+ gap with 12 to go we wouldn't be up. We wouldnt even have one hand on it. We would perhaps be thinking of taking the glove off to be allowed to touch it though

I said if we get 6 points from boro & Luton then losing to Leeds wouldn't be so bad. Just hope we turn up for it and go at them. Hoping for a repeat of the boro performance and not the hull/pompey one or we could get walloped and out footballed.

3 games in 7 days = 9 points, even with rotation causing some inconsistent performances, that's the best we could have done points wise.

Now we've got 9 days to rest and get ready for what is probably our biggest match of the season, and easily the toughest game we'll play between now and the end the season.

Hopefully, we'll see a few players back as well, mainly Moore and Seriki.

Guaranteed to play 352
I would say we've got the players to do it now, whereas we didn't when we played them earlier in the season.

-------------------Cooper
-----------Anel-Holding-Robbo
Clarke----------Souza----------Burrows
----------O'Hare----------Hamer
------Campbell----------------BBD

Bit square pegs in round holes for O'Hare (CM instead of CAM) and BBD (ST rather than LW), but with Leeds likely to have majority of possession, it would suit BBD on the counter and for Burrows and Clarke to push forwards and join the attack.

Next Monday, we are up.

Ffs Wilder pick the best 11 and stop fucking about with the team.
8 wins out of 9? Clearly not doing his job right Wilder out. Do you think he wants to change the team every week? Injury fitness new players etc
The man has pulled rabbit after rabbit out of his hat for us this season. Halfway through February Sheffield United are top of the table with 70 points should be 72. Nobody at the beginning of the season would have predicted that nobody pundits people etc had us in a relegation battle and he continues to stick his finger up at them. Look at Luton nearly same squad as last season look at them now

I just hope he doesn't think QPR are shit when we play them!
Imagine beating Leeds and losing at QPR. QPR away will be a tricky fixture. We're going to lose an odd game here and there. I'm more confident of automatic now than I was at any other point in the season. The team spirit is clear to see. Instilling that is Wilder's biggest asset. Plus we have the squad now. The bench is full of options.

Not sure the OP is on the metal with this….but he picks the team he feels will win the games!
He managed to get the win today despite some of the better players being missing.

It’s a squad game- you have to have depth and with games thick and fast you really have to rotate players a bit, especially when they are managing some injuries and niggles.

Would have been crazy to play Hamer today, Peck too has shown the slight rest has done him good.
Seriki needs time to get back to speed as does Davies.

But with 9 days before the Leeds game we can now hopefully have our strongest team fully fit and ready to face without doubt the best team in the division.
Simply put- Beat Leeds and it’s a huge result that could see confidence surge and us then power on to promotion, while potentially putting pressure back on them. Today Wilder got the squad right, though perhaps tactically not with the formation. Result was right in the end.

I'd love it if Seriki was on the bench.

the more modern set up is 343 and think thats how we will start against leeds
