Looking forward to us finding 4th gear. Not sure I believe the guy who thinks today was 3rd gear.

Cheers Roy

Their fans must be like a lot of ours on here, although if you’ve lost seven on the spin, positivity must be quite hard. I thought they played OK and certainly kept the ball better than we did a lot of the time. I liked the look of Clarke at centre back, just what we could do with as a kick it, head it type.

Thought Derby weren’t as bad as they’re making out but that’s what happens when you haven’t won in ages. Everything is a crisis. Bit of luck in the box is all they need, could’ve easily been 1-1 today which would’ve been shite for us.

It does appear that we don’t get out of “gears” at times as the build up to goals takes so long. Today’s goal started in the centre of the penalty area went through 3 or 4 people across the box from left to right to pick out the back post. The first half there seemed some urgency especially with Clarke getting forwards

I read this every week and it seems as though every set of fans hates watching their team. Even the fans of the teams at the top of the division are constantly moaning, including ours.

Does anyone actually enjoy watching football any more?

It’s a sign of the times, there’s a sense of entitlement at all levels.

Not helped by the prices either. There’s a conscious / sub conscious mentality perhaps nowadays “i pay so much for tickets travel food booze etc. I expect to be entertained royally”.

For the modern fan football has become a trip to the cinema.

The Bassett days were great but god there were some bad games. I don’t ever remember moaning after a win though.

Thank you Roygbiv

I couldn't really feel the joy in those comments though to be fair I didn't really try.

I started noticing this during our first Premier League season and thought it was just entitlement from the fans of top clubs but it's definitely widespread now.
